This was my first time camping in our RV. Never slept in one before. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had to reschedule our stay one time because of issues with the dealer. KOA was very helpful in rescheduling our first night. Unfortunately we couldn't stay more than one night. Everyone around was also very friendly and had advice.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour de 4 nuits, il est situé à Ladson, une petite ville avec toutes les commodités (épiceries, restos et magasins) et à environ 30 à 40 minutes de Charleston. On a pas connu de gros bouchons de traffic lorsque nous prenions la I26 et I526 pour aller visiter Charleston alors c'est un gros avantage. Les terrains sont sur l'herbe avec des arbres, c'est propre.

We stayed for Spring Break in April. The campground was very quiet which was nice, but there were not any type of Easter activities going on at the campground. We also had a stray cat that kept coming to our site which was a little annoying. It was a fairly nice campground to stay at, but I would probably try another campground if I went back to Charleston.

Catapillars dropped out of the trees on the camper, our chairs, our picnic table and our heads. Catapillar dirt was over everything. We had to clean the table every few hours. And then rained and it seems our site and that of our friends was a low point and we had a small river flows past our camper.

Charleston KOA staff were friendly and helpful. I found the bathrooms to be very clean. The showers are inside stalls, which allows for more privacy. They also have hooks and a bench to place your things on. Although it is hard to make a left turn out of the KOA onto US-78, you can easily make a right and either u-turn or pull through the KFC lot and out again to make a left going south on US-78.

Was assigned to a mud hole, that also rained caterpillars and extrement. Was a complete mess. Staff did not assist in getting us a different spot despite several other sites being open. Overall, the facility is old and looks old. It is located about 30 min out from historic Charleston.

Nice quiet RV Park. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There were no issues due to the adjacent trailer park. It was also quiet and it is fenced off with a solid wooden fence. We had a very pleasant stay.

It’s a very nice KOA. We were there for a short time so we didn’t use many of the facilities. Pool was closed but the campground had just opened the week before. Site was nice and level and clean. Only downside was getting in and out of the main road. It was very busy.

Our campsite was full of trash and the grass had not been cut. Only 1 crowded bath house that was also being used by the trailer park next door.

The site was great. Park was very quiet. As my dog a Labrador Retriever and I (Tom Houghton’s wife) were exiting the dog park, a couple with 2 dogs( appeared to be pit bull mix) entered the park park area. They were acting very aggressively to me and my dog. The woman was having a hard time holding her dog. I was scared to death. We exited very quickly through the ONLY Exit to the campground.

Friendly staff. Restrooms were always clean with supplies available. Our deluxe patio site was a bit tight. Lots of fire ants on the site. Not as many amenities as other Holiday parks.

Long grass, cold water in pool, airport at 10 miles very noisy, far to Charleston, nabour noisy , so I don’t recommend this park.

Stayed for 5 nights. Close to everything in Charleston without being expensive. Our 4 dogs (Goldens) loved the walks! Was perfect for our family. The staff were very helpful and nice, thank you!

This is the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed at. My site was 50/50 dirt and grass. There was trash left behind too. The whole place isn’t maintained very well at all. There is only one bathroom and it’s not maintained. I had to wait in line to use the toilet and almost ran out of paper. This was before the office was open. I won’t be back. This is not what I expected from KOA. ���

Unfortunately we had 2 RV hoses stolen when we were out. I would not recommend this KOA to anyone.

Should clean up/rake the campsite between guests. Large amount of trip hazards and pine cones on site.

Urban Camping. Management efforts are apparent, restrooms are clean. Playground looked new and nice. Some constant road noise but that’s the price for location.

Drive by a mobile home park to get to the KOA. Site was tight with tree roots making leveling difficult on hydraulic jacks. Restricted breeds of dogs is ignored. A Wrot-Dobi mix with a muzzle on couldn’t bite but muscled smaller dogs in dog walk then on the way back to RV another dog tried to bite our dog snarling and snapping. Will definitely not be back. I’ve only had 2 bad experiences in KO

Nice spaces, the utilities are set up well. Close to fuel, groceries. Only 25 min from downtown Charleston. The Staff was very friendly and helpful!!

We stayed one week in a deluxe cabin. The facilities were ample, with a midsized refrigerator, small stove with 4 burners and two air conditioners. No bells and whistles but sturdy comfortable accommodation.

Friendly staff, very poorly maintained, leaves, no weedeating, needs fresh gravel in back in sites because those are muddy. About 10 old run down campers in a lack of maintenance. Shaff was very nice in the office. Grounds crew did little the entire week.

Nice place, staff was great, grounds and bathrooms were cleaned and nice. Only downside is traffic noise from the nearby road.

Campground is well maintained. Sites are a little close but not too bad. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only negatives are noise and traffic getting out.

A nice secluded area in a big city. Yes, there are noises, but you can't camp in a city and get rid of all the city sounds. Everyone was kind and we had a great time!

I've stayed here several times now and each time I like the campground better than before. I liked being at the end of the E row this time because it's farther from the traffic noise of HWY 78. My only criticism is that the campsite needed to be mowed -> the weeds and grass were quite tall and the one time they came around to mow during our 3-week stay, they didn't do a very good job.

The worst KOA that I ever stayed at.The recreation hall was closed.Unable to play pool .one of my favorite activities to do. I asked about the recreation hall and was told they had to fix something that broke during covid. Well,covid has been over more than a year now, My camp site was a swamp when it rained. I had to take my shoes and socks off,and walk thru 3-4 inches of rain to enter my camper

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
