Tent Reviews

We love staying here. Our kids love the pool! Everyone was super friendly! There were tons of ants in our campfire pit. And we had ants in our tent in the morning we left and we never ate in the tent. Other than the ants, it was great

The description of the campsites is inaccurate. The campsites are right next to the highway and cars, trucks and motorcycles roar past. There is no quiet time. And there is no babbling brook

We're sorry your stay wasn't to your satisfaction. Our website description of the standard tent sites does not mention a babbling brook. That description is for our deluxe tent sites located at the back of the park. We hope you'll stay with us in the future and try one of the deluxe tent sites.

Having the tent sites right next to the busy road made it too loud and bright at night, preventing any amount of decent sleep. It just seems like poor planning to put the thinnest walls next to the loudest road

Staff was great. Small campground but had everything I needed. Tent site was close to main road so a little noisy at night but I was so tired it didn’t really bother me too much. Noise was not as bad as other KOA’s I’ve stayed at since town was not as busy.

The upgraded tent site was worth every penny.

Wish there were more trees to provide more shade for the tent campers and I wish there were places to put up hammocks

Love this location. The tent site by the creek is my favorite!

Have stayed there many times. Nice, sometimes a little noisy because of roadway.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. Internet was blazing fast and very reliable. The facilities were average/acceptable. One of the bathrooms had water shut off with no notice or signage which was a large inconvenience to us. A temporary worker was rude and inconsiderate of property. We will stay again if in the area due to location/convenience.

Staff was very accommodating. Another customer accidentally took our campsite the first night, so we stayed in the site they were supposed to be in. When we checked in with the office the next morning they switched it without hesitation. They also showed us popular things to do in the area to help plan out our day. Clean facilities and friendly people. Best KOA I’ve been to.

The camp hosts were very nice and attentive. The camp is clean. BUT it is located right next to a highway that has lots of truck and also motorcycle traffic. The highway is right on the other side os the financial, which is where the tent area is located. This is a terrible KOA for tent campers.

Staff was helpful, camping spots are right next to Main Street. So expect some noise, lots of trees for shade for rv sites.

Friendly staff. Clean area. Love that it is close to Sand Hollow and Quail Creek State Park.

The facilities were great and well taken care of. The only down side for us, was we were tent camping. The camp sights are right up against a busy road, and the only barrier between us and the road was an old wooden fence. Needless to say it was very noisey the entire stay, and hard to sleep! It would be a good investment if they put up a brick wall to cancel out most of the noise from the cars.

Nice property and clean bathrooms; however, I do not recommend the primitive site near the main road. Diesel truck started up in the middle of the night and took off - scared the crap out of us. And then of course with the site being on the main road - there were a lot of diesel trucks revving up and down the road at all hours. We understand it is Utah, go big or go home, but really?!

I stayed in a tent site in my Jeep. This is such a clear pleasant camp. I’ll be back.

Very friendly staff, especially Paul. He went above and beyond to accommodate our group and make us feel welcome, even in the midst of COVID-19. We extended our stay another night because of this KOA’s hospitality! A little bit loud with the tent sites right by the road, but manageable with earplugs at night.

Great staff. Clean bathrooms and quiet campground. Close to the road and amenities. Great place to set up a base camp for loads of fun in the area.

The sites were rather large and very wid, easy for us to get our 40' 5th wheel around in. The staff was quite friendly at least the ones we talk to. The upside is, it is right on Main Street so you are close to many of the attractions Cedar City has to offer. The downside is it's right on Main Street which is a 4 to 6 lane wide thoroughfare that ambulances, fire and police use regularly going code 3. And don't forget because of Utah winters the gutters going in-and-out of driveways throughout the city are extremely steep, it is best to enter and exit at as steep of an angle as you can.
