Cedar City KOA Reviews

Cabin is nice sized. Clean. Wanted more privacy

WiFi didn't work well, even though we were closer to the office. We should have chosen a more secluded cabin (ours was also close to the main road) if we had known the WiFi would not have worked anyway. Cabin and bathrooms were clean. Campsite had some nice amenities.

We had a great one-night stay. Friendly staff, clean cabin, and nice restroom facilities. We enjoyed taking a walk around the campground and letting our dogs free in the dog area. Thank you for a good experience!

Really nice place! Staff was crazy nice and helpful! Bathrooms and showers were clean and our kabin was cozy and quiet. The only thing that kept it from being five stars is the price. We could have stayed at a nice hotel and had a free breakfast for the priced we paid. Might go back if in a jam.

The facilities at this KOA were really nice! The only thing that made me uncomfortable was on 2 separate occasions there were people we’re staying at the campsite come, us the showers, and leave.

When we arrived and were escorted to our camp cabin, it was swept out by our escort in front of us. Afterward, we found dead flies on the mattresses and there were about 50 dead flies in the ceiling light. I would question whether it was sanitized at all, which is frightening in today’s COVID time. On the other hand, the KOA bathrooms were very clean.

First time staying at KOA and it was a fun little getaway! Clean cabins, very friendly staff and kids enjoyed the campground. Will definitively look at other KOA campgrounds in future.

Loved the little cabin! It worked well for our family of four and two dogs - and having the grass around the cabin was great for the dogs. The bathrooms, pool area, playground and overall campground were clean and seemed well maintained. The office staff were all polite and friendly.

It was unique and fun to stay here. Although I booked a cabin for 6 and then when I showed up they charge me for each individual person.

Second KOA in Utah for us to stay at and very nice. Cabin was clean. Could enforce/suggest more covid precautions. Utah not as serious about restictions as some other states.

Had a fantastic time. Place is clean. We felt safe.

It’s been many years since I’ve stayed at a KOA and I only set up a tent. The cabin was precious and worked out perfect for us because we were arriving very late and left early. I was surprised at how clean it was, no cobwebs or dust. and the bathrooms were decent. I recommend.

It’s on a busy street but it’s a nice campground and the owners are so nice and friendly. We had an issue with our cabin and then went above and beyond to fix it

Nice camping cabin. Loved the couple's cabin set up!

Why can't you fix the door to K27 so it will open completely? Numerous KOA cabins that I have been in are the same way. It's hard to carry your luggage through a half open door. Thanks for listening.

The cabins don’t have a solid foundation, they are sitting on gravel, so it feels like the cabin is constantly moving.

I stayed in a cabin and it was so hot inside the cabin (even though the air conditioning was on for hours) that it was nearly impossible to sleep. I would say that after 4-5 hours of AC running the cabin was still 85 degrees inside. The Cedar City KOA was nice but honestly, this was an unacceptable facet of my stay.

Dirty Restrooms. Cabins face Main Street and are about 15 feet from the road, which was always busy. Pool water was slightly green.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

A limited number of cabins are 80 feet from Main St. with more 140 feet from the street, and additional cabins at the back of the park. We're always willing to work with you on appropriate cabin location if you call our friendly staff.

This is my 2nd visit and I love it!!!! I stay in cabin 10 the only problem was the a/c, wasn't cooling enough and at the middle of the night it make to much noise.... everything else was great....

The staff took us in as a last minute reservation due to the closure of a KOA we were going to stay at. It was closed due to a wild fire. They were respectful of our need to distance an placed our paperwork outside for us to pick up upon arrival.

Employees were very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were always clean, even on the busy day we were there. And the ice cream was good! We will be back soon.

Thank you for having the air conditioning on when we arrived, as it was very hot outside, and the vool air was refreshing. Nice and frienfly staff.

Appreciated that they turned AC on prior to our arrival. Liked the dog friendly screen door and porch swing. Disappointed to pay an additional pet “cleaning” fee. Pet yard was disappointing but at least safety fenced.

The night before I had to stay in a cabin at the Limon KOA which was awful. The grounds and the staff were amazing in Cedar City.. The bathrooms were clean and very pretty. After I checked in I called the Limon KOA which left me upset and crying. What helped was having a scoop of rocky road ice cream on a waffle cone. I even went bowling downtown after which I went swimming.

We rented a cabin for one night. It was so clean and very affordable. The restrooms were the nicest I’ve ever been in a KOA.The staff was very helpful and friendly. The best hand dipped ice cream too!

I paid $82.59 for a 6 bed cabin. 2 Room Log Cabin sleeps six (1 double bed and two sets of bunk beds). When I arrived with 5 people they charged me an additional $16.77 for the 5th person. That didn't seem right to me. It was a fun experience to stay in a cabin. They had an air conditioner in the back room and I guess my son and his wife got hot in the front room so we should have slept with the door between rooms open. We brought our own wood and had smores. Nice porch swing on the porch.
