This property was very well kept and there are numerous activities available in the very large rec room, as well as outside. The downside was that my husband and I both need WiFi for remote work, and we could not get a good signal at all in our RV. We had to go to the rec room to do our work. The property was farther away from Carlsbad and the Caverns than we thought. Very friendly staff!

Dog park didn't have any poop bags, trash can in dog park was full our entire stay. We ran out of our own poop bags for travel days. The young lady at the office didnt know who was responsible for emptying the dog park trash. I took my showers about 30 minutes after the cleaning time and both times the showers were dirty. WiFi was basically nonexistent.

Level gravel campground. At one time it was attractive but it is a bit dated. It is a very long drive to town and over an hour to the NP. Friendly helpful employees and big with plenty of space.

As with most KOA's the park had some worthwhile amenities. Large game room, nice laundry room and a pool that was closed. You could purchase BBQ daily (if the park could afford their maintenance man to cook and not work). So yes I could recommend this campground, but like most all of KOA's parks the price as continued to go up and up with less and less gain.

A decent KOA but the owners have let it get run down over the years (I first stayed here over 15 years ago). The bathrooms could use a coat of paint and filling the paper towel holders and soap dispensers would be a nice touch. Good for a short stay over while traveling through.

Disappointing. The ladies restroom hadn’t been cleaned the entire time we were there. The same toothpaste gob was in the sink the whole time and one of the toilets was messy and had never been tended too. Also the trash cans everywhere were overflowing. It was disappointing considering we had just come from a nearby state park where the restrooms were immaculate. No doggies bags in dog park

Nice park with the exception that the landscape is terrible. Weeds everywhere. Thorny stickers all over, bad for pets. Pet trash was not empty for the 4 days we were there. If they cleaned up this park it would be a lot nicer.

This KOA is not what they would like you to believe. It is definitely not a KOA Holiday. It is a OK Journey at best. The Pool was closed and looks to have been for a long time. It is a green allege pond now. The restaurant was closed and from reading reviews that has been so for a while as well. Most of the items were in disrepair. One good thing, the laundry was clean

Good location. Very nice staff. Marcus (maintenance) helped us out when we arrived including troubleshooting our electric hitch which wasn't working. He went above and beyond. Nice facilities including the laundry center.

Wifi was almost non-existant. Issues getting cable tv connected. An appointment was made with a serviceman but no show. I cleaned out the shower Before I had one. First time ever that I have had issues like these at a KOA campground.

We stayed for 10 days. The campground served its purpose satisfactorily. However, the water is so hard, it left a white coating on anything that got wet. Plus the WiFi was almost nonexistent. Some of the sites could have used some attention like mowing. That said, the staff was very nice and helpful, clubhouse, laundry, bathrooms were very clean. Sites were gravel but level and spaced nicely.

Great campground! We came in a little after closing time and the employees were still there to help get us checked in. Very clean bathrooms! We stayed for only 2 nights and were on our way. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with this KOA. We'll maintained, large long level sites, all the hook ups worked great. Bathrooms were clean and they seemed to have many activities for the kids. We also liked how it was so close to all the attractions. By far one of the best KOA's we stayed at. We plan on giving them a great review and using tgem on our website www.EricKristyAdventures.com

Sites were spacious. Friendly staff. They need to spend some time weeding around the sites. we could not use the picnic table at our site because of the weeds growing up around it.

While it was good we had planned on eating our meal there and their kitchen was closed. We also would have loved a swim but the pool was closed. Maybe an alert on the web site would have made us less disappointed. It was very clean

Check-in time is 2:00. We arrived an hour and a half early and was charged $10.00 for the early arrival. We had been driving over 3hrs and had no choice but to arrive when we did. Also the sites are not maintained very well.

staff were pleasant. but one thing needs to be enforced is dog owners picking up the poop their pet . There were several times i had to dodge the land mines walking around the park.

We were basically only at our rv only at night. The campground was clean. We did not use the bathrooms or other facilities, so I can't really rate them. I understand supplies are hard to get lately, but not to have any doggy bags in the dog park? Thankfully I never leave the rv without 1 or 2 so I was at least prepared. And the dog trash can had not been emptied in several days. Quiet park!

Great campground, and I would have given it 5 stars but for a couple of issues. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, the doggie stations needed attention and when we left on Sunday, they were even fuller from the lack of attention. Also the stationary grill on my site was located in a blind spot and was unnecessary as there was a gas grill located on the patio.

When booking, I was shown a pic of a site with a pergola and porch swing for a fancier and more expensive patio site. That was not what we were assigned upon arrival. There was a patio, but no pergola and only a glider. I will never book more than a basic site at a KOA again, assuming I book again. Because the wifi was basically useless. We reported the issue, got a BS response.

Very nice. Only drawback was not enough showers and toilets for the number of people. The dinners were very good and checkin staff very helpful. Another thing, camp address should be on confirmation and mile marker also.

Wifi is horrible and there is no BBQ dinner delivered to your site, like they advertise. The place is immaculate and people are friendly and the price is fair. It seems false advertising re wifi and bbq, however. An easy fix would be for them to edit their ads and website to more accurately reflect the current situation.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
