Very clean but too expensive for what you get in January

This should be categorized as a Journey, not a Holiday. Nice level sites but the bathrooms are only cleaned 11a-1p daily and by evening the bathhouse bathrooms were gross. There is a sewer smell but that is not their fault. Another KOA that needs a recycling bin, not just a dumpster. It’s 2024 can’t we all pitch in just a little?!? GET A RECYCLING BIN!

Dirty, dusty, not nice. Pool was a mud pit (cover it if you’re not using it) laundry room used by staff for rental cottages. Office was sparse with overpriced supplies. So disappointed with this facility. It should not be a KOA; not what expected for KOA. Bathrooms not clean, shower had mold in corners. Restaurant not open. So disappointed.

Extremely friendly staff, very spacious sites and very clean and well maintained. A little ways out of Carlsbad (20+ minutes to get into town to shop) so it's "secluded" but we liked that. We only had 2 issues: 1. there was an occasional smell like sewer? We thought it was our RV but it's not & there are other reviews about this. 2. VERY hard water, its okay for a few days but leaves stains.

Great campground, and play areas. Would definitely stay here again. Due to lack of help the camp store was never open when we were there but that was the only negative

We have always like this park but won't be back. Paid for full hookups but didn't have water because the faucet didn't work. My husband had to hookup to another site. He reported the problem but no one showed up to check it out. My husband fixed it the best he could do we could have water. I sweep the laundry room floor because it was very dirty.

The sites are large and level. It was easy for us to maneuver our 40ft rig. The girl that checked us in was wonderful! The fellow travelers were great to converse with. NOT close to Carlsbad or the caverns but quiet and clean.

Wonderful place! Self registration was easy. The bathrooms, showers and laundry areas were SPOTLESS! The grounds were tidy and we barely had to level our trailer. Super convenient location and signage to get here. Added bonus was a breakfast cafe!!

We would not recommend this location. This was rated a KOA Holiday, but there were no amenities that I associate with a KOA Holiday. The bathrooms were dirty; considering there were few other campers, I don't think they'd been cleaned in a while. The women's showers were gross with hair all over the floor. A better option would have been boondocking on BLM land closer to the National Park.

Lots of room, everything was clean. Level rv pads, wonderful showers, nice dog play area. Was cold so no pool time but the pool looked like it would be enjoyable. The showers were terrific.

While at KOA we visited Carlsbad caverns. The camp was excellent with good wifi. Excellent management thank you.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The weather turned very cold and I received a notice by e-mail of a possible freeze so we could prepare to avoid freeze damage.

Maintenance department was grading the roads near camp site. Caused major dusting all over our food while trying to cook on grill. Requested them to stop no response . Nice Koa but lack of response ruined evening outdoor supper

We really enjoyed the Thanksgiving potluck, although we technically crashed, as we never got the email invitation. Haha! But it was very nice of you to put it on, the food was good, and it was really nice to meet some of our neighbors. Thank you again.

On website and check in paperwork it showed that dinner could be ordered. When we asked they said no food was allowed to be ordered due to them not having the kitchen clean. We planned on not cooking that night so had to drive into town to get food.

We were not happy with our stay here. Laundry room had no soap, so we couldn’t do our laundry. The office didn’t open till 10:00 am in which we waited to do laundry and they had no soap. Internet was not good either. No meals were available either. We have stayed at other KOA’s and loved them.

Clean, quiet and a short drive to Carlsbad and Artesia. Staff is friendly and there's plenty for the younger kids!!

In November the park wasn't full and it was nice to feel like we were camping in the desert with all the amenities right behind us. I appreciated that the team didn't book all the campers side by side. Instead they left several spaces to spread everyone out. I wish more parks would think this way. The laundry room and bath were large and clean.

Don’t know why the review request is in French. Fortunately I know enough French to read the questions. This KOA was much further from Carlsbad than I expected (20-25 minutes). Plus - quiet. Minus - felt isolated.

Not a good stay overall. The amenities it said they offer weren't all available. Grounds are older and run down. The sign on the entrance about police patrolling the camp ground and the signs in the bathrooms about beware of human trafficking. Dosen't make you feel real comfortable. Large camp ground but the office puts everyone on top of each other, not summer it was November.

Nice sized sites. Friendly staff. VERY hard water that we weren't expecting, so I'd recommend the use of a water softener. Little burrs all over the ground, so rough on our furbaby's feet. Nice activity patio.

Very enjoyable stay, this KOA has many family activities and is close to hiking and State Parks. The personnel were, as are all, friendly and willing to assist as necessary and professionally.

Great RV spots. Very spacious! Well kept, very clean. About 45 mins from Carlsbad Caverns. They do make pizzas on site, but the nearest restaurant or store is about 30mins. Still really great KOA

Showers were wonderful, staff was friendly. Liked the activity room and games. Price was reasonable. If anything was not right, I would say that shower curtains need cleaned routinely, they had mildew on the bottom
