We had a great time. The river side tent site was lovely with sunshine in the morning greeting us during breakfast. The bathrooms are very clean with hot water and very good showers. Also the outside sink with hot water to do the dishes was great. Overall the campground is very neat and tidy and with all the trees and the view on the river a pleasure to stay.

This is my third time staying here! The property is beautiful by the river. All the facilities are very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Will be back again.

Excellent, clean campground. Friendly hosts. It has clean bathrooms, a sink just to wash dishes in and the campground is right on the Crystal River.

The views are amazing and the sound of the river was peaceful despite it flowing pretty good. The only thing we didn’t love was the sound of the traffic from the road. I think the closer your are to the river the less likely you would hear the traffic. Otherwise everyone was very nice and we would definitely come back!

This is my 5th time staying at this particular KOA. I love this campground and can’t wait until my next visit. I especially like the improvements to the shower house!

Had a great night at the Crystal River KOA. Nice amenities, new bathroom, wifi and clean camp spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be booking more nights at this KOA.

A great stay! The campground was clean, well taken care of, with a wonderful staff. The laundry facilities were very much appreciated! Clean bathrooms w/outlets & well taken care of. A recreation room had outlets for charging devices, a microwave, tv, DVDs, & games. Each tent site has a level pad & a fire pit with a metal cooking grill. Spacious! About 35 min drive to Hanging Lake & Thomas Lakes.

I only gave four stars this year because the sauna was shut down for the season. Who sits in a hot sauna in summer anyway? The sauna is so nice in the fall especially after returning from bike rides and hikes. (Sometimes in the rain) That was disappointing but all other aspects of the stay were so nice. The bathhouse is very nice and clean. The campground is beautiful and the staff very kind.

The staff was very accommodating. Because of a doctor's appointment, we made reservations a little late. We wanted 2 nights with an electric hook-up, but only one night was available. The staff did check for cancelations for our second night but there were none. We were able to stay a second night in a tent site with our 19 foot van. Over-all, our stay was very pleasant.

The toilets and showers are clean and neat. The campsites are varied. Close to the road it's really loud & not very idyllic, a few campsites right next to the river are nicer (but still get quite some noise from the road). The tent patches are even and nice, all sites come with picnic table and fireplace which is nice. Our tent pad seemed to have been under a tree popular among big birds...

Not a great location. It is directly next to a highway, so there are very loud vehicles driving by at all hours of the night. Likely would not stay here again for this reason. The tent sites were fine, nothing special to write home about. Otherwise, nothing earth shattering about this stay.

Phoned to get same day tent site for motorcycle camping. Host1 listened to need & gave me a few options and a terrific recommendation. Host2 delivered firewood to our site. Both were friendly & helpful. Great site. Clean showers. On water. Near town.

This was my first KOA experience and I loved it! Beautiful location and there is a paved bike trail on the property that you can ride into town. It also connects with the rio grande trail. I will stay again. Affordable tent sites

The campsite was beautiful and the staff are amazing. I booked a last minute trip to this KOA and it did not disappoint. I was able to be next to the water and dip my feet into the very cold water. The scenery was amazing and it is just far enough away from town that it doesn't feel like it is in the city. I will be going back soon.

This was my favorite KOA that I stayed at during my trip out West. I was a late arrival and the staff gave me a call ahead of time to let me know about the late arrival procedure and once I got there it was very easy to find my site and get settled. As a tent camper, I loved how the tent sites along the river felt secluded enough to enjoy the peacefulness, but were also close to the bathrooms.

This was my second tent overnight. There was a very loud group next to me and I needed to ask them to be quiet around 11 pm. There was another tent site camper who kept shining very bright headlights on my tent. So not a restful evening. I didn't mind all the rain, it was an unfortunate situation with some loud or unconsiderate guests.

The campground was nice, the amenities were clean and glad we had showers after a long day of biking. However, our neighbors were up both nights being very loud. They also clearly had more people staying in their site than allowed. It was hard to sleep with partiers next to us, wishing there was a way to report those types of incidences since it's not up to the guests to go tell them to quiet down

This KOA was amazing. Location, cabins, host all great. Arrived with some snow and still got a great tour of the campgrounds. We stayed right next to the river with a view of mountains as soon as you walk out.

Overall good stay, clean, and friendly staff. BUT we went to leave on the closing date and water was shut off so couldn't flush out the tank.
