My wife and I had a tent site along the river and really enjoyed laying in our tent listening to the river rushing by. The restroom and shower facility was clean and kept stocked. The staff was very friendly. The drive back to Carbondale wasn't bad and we enjoyed our hike and rafting trip. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already talking/planning a trip next summer.

We ended up not staying there as we had rented the teepee. It was about 110 in there with absolutely no ventilation. Does it say in the description there aren’t any windows?? We would have rented a cabin for the night but told you had to rent for 2 nights. So, the campground could have gotten half of that as opposed to probably no rental at all for the night.

We love this place, and it is great for kids. There is so much to do there with the pool, corn hole, river and hot springs down the road. The maintenance staff was friendly and helpful. The lady in the office was a little crabby when we asked for additional garbage bags, but everything else was fantastic!

Our cabin was clean, well appointed and in a great location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall we had a terrific trip and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful cabin on the river. It was cleaned and stocked with all the things we needed to prepare meals. This is a beautiful area to visit!

Great location…very well maintained, both the cabins and the rest of the property were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely going back. One of the better ones I have stayed in.

The location of this KOA is beautiful, especially when staying at the sites along the river. The bathroom is nice and we enjoyed the amenities (including the honey wagon). My only issue was the woman at the office at 11 am the day we checked in. No people skills, rude. Was unable to give us an 11:30 check in (told previously this was possible) but my issue is how poorly she handled it.

The staff was very friendly but the camp site didn’t live up to our expectations. All of the tent sites on our row were directly in the sun with no added shade and no way to add your own shade. The water faucet at the site did not work.

Clean, beautiful, varied options for lodging such as tent, RV, cabins, TP. Kara at the front desk was warm, helpful and welcoming. We would love to come back again.

A great little cabin right next to the Crystal River. Amazing and beautiful views. Host was really nice. Neighbors sharing the cabin were noisy... slamming doors etc. but not the campgrounds fault. Just difficult to sleep. The tiny cabin was well stocked with dishes and pans. No bathsoap however so bring your own. I would stay here again but hope for quieter neighbors.

The entire Crystal River KOA crew was “Very” accommodating in every way. The campground was very clean, organized, and had a great dog area. Plus, what’s better than having the sound of the river float through the campground. Beautiful campground and surrounding area.

Great place to stay. Next to river which was running high (bummer). Sewer would be nice but no big deal. Recommend weed eating around entrance as it easy to drive by entrance.

We were put in spot 20 (despite a request to have a site near the river when I booked on 1 January 2023). The staff were wonderful. Bathrooms were clean and the campground was lovely. My only issue was that site is close to the road so there was a lot of road noise. Also, people didn't pick up dog poop in the dog park area. Definitely coming back!

Nice little campground along the river. I only give it 3 stars because the riverfront sites are in dire need of bush/tree trimming. I trimmed a little patch myself so we could actually see a little peak of the river. No Verizon signal but park Wi-Fi is better than average.

This KOA was amazing. Location, cabins, host all great. Arrived with some snow and still got a great tour of the campgrounds. We stayed right next to the river with a view of mountains as soon as you walk out.

Overall good stay, clean, and friendly staff. BUT we went to leave on the closing date and water was shut off so couldn't flush out the tank.
