We were disappointed that there was no sewer hookup, None of the sites had one. We paid extra for a “patio” site but it was not worth the extra$$$ for our site. Excellent bike path and gorgeous scenery!

Lovely park with lots of trees, big green grass dog run, and friendly staff. We were able to access the wonderful paved bike path right outside the entrance. Rode 32 miles!

First time we brought our puppy camping! This was a great KOA since they had a dog park and our puppy was able to run around and play with other dogs. It was quiet and everyone we met was nice, especially the staff. The staff at KOA are always kind and friendly!

Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant. The campground itself is a little too close to the road but very quiet at night. Other campers seem to be very quiet and considerate, exception: one older guy who was blasting some country music in the middle of the day for everyone around to hear. This was yesterday May 9th, Airstream trailer by the dump station. He seemed oblivious.

This was our second time staying at the Crystal River KOA and we enjoyed every second of it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The dog park was perfect for our playful chocolate lab.

I rate high with survey because i really like the place and have come for many years. However for our last stay in Cabin 8 we have horrible time with water pressure in shower/bathroom and kitchen sink. The shower went between hot and cold and In order to get hot water in the kitchen sink we had to turn on the bathroom faucet. i showered in the camping shower facilities to avoid the cabin shower

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathhouse/bathroom was brand spanking new and clean! For that matter, everything was clean and picked up. Loved it!

Monica went above and beyond to make our stay possible. We traveled from Florida after a huge snow storm. She made sure the roads were plowed and heated the cabin up for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Our cabin was great! The stove furnace was perfect in the evenings and nice to wake up to. Will definitely be where we stay anytime we visit!

Gorgeous location. We stayed in a patio site on the river. Wonderful. Love the bike path right out of the campground. Love the surrounding areas of Carbondale, Basalt and Aspen.

This KOA is phenomenol. The views are spectacular, being right along the Crystal River and at the base of Mount Sopris, every morning is like waking up in a dream! In addition, Randy and Patti and Bob and Monica, who are working the grounds during this beautiful Fall weather, went out of their way to treat us well. We have no complaints and many compliments!

What a wonderful find! A smaller KOA, but big in terms of friendliness and beauty. We loved our campsite (#3) near the river and the views looking toward Mt. Sopris. We hope to come back some time when it’s warmer!

This KOA is wonderful. This was the fourth time my wife and I stayed in the cabins at the Carbondale/Crystal River KOA and we intend to return. It's like this oasis that we can escape to from our stressful lives. The sound of the river, the smell of nature, and Mount Sopris gazing watching silently over us all lead to this blissful experience. The accommodations are great. Comfortable and clean.

My wife and I had an awesome time in Carbondale.The KOA was great, we were right on the river and the campground was great...planning on going back next year.

One night stay at a spot right on the river. Wished the site had sewer hookup. OTA tv reception was good and WiFi was decent.

This KOA was amazing. Location, cabins, host all great. Arrived with some snow and still got a great tour of the campgrounds. We stayed right next to the river with a view of mountains as soon as you walk out.

Overall good stay, clean, and friendly staff. BUT we went to leave on the closing date and water was shut off so couldn't flush out the tank.
