Campgrounds were clean and well organized, the staff was very friendly and helpful, even allowed us to check in early which we appreciated after a 13 hour all night drive. Shower facilities and bathrooms were clean , very much appreciated, would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

We spent one night in transit unexpectedly due to inclement weather that closed I-90 eastbound. Very scenic spot by the river and nice facilities. Would definitely stay there again!

Great KOA campground for an overnight stay while traveling, or for a couple days. The family that runs the Buffalo KOA is very friendly, the facilities are incredibly clean, the sites are nice and level, and the showers are private and nice and hot. I have stayed here multiple times and will do so in the future.

Only draw back is that it is right on a major road. But check in was a breeze and showers/ bathrooms were very clean.

Very cold and windy our night of stay. Restrooms warm, clean and well kept. Love to come back when weather is nicer as facility is beautiful!

Beautiful campground, spacious sites, loved the accessibility to town., great stream nearby, clean campgrounds, quiet and the best KOA we have stayed at! Next time we will request to stay at Site 55! Never seen a site like that ever! Keep up the great work! We will return!!

We stayed for two months during the winter. The KOA was a great place to stay. It is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect. The grounds are beautiful and we look forward to coming back in the summer and staying closer to the river. Showers were always clean as well as everything at the site. Everyone we worked with was polite. Thank you all.

Seemed very expensive for just electrical hookup. Nothing else available including no shoveled walk into the lobby /registration area!! Very treacherous! Safety hazard!!! Very quiet, which we appreciated.

Although we arrived in off season the place was clean and was easy to book a spot. They even had the laundry room available ( during winter most don’t). I’m sure this place is amazing in the summer. I’d recommend this place anytime of the year.

Beautiful park and wonderful people. Water at sites had been shut down for the winter, but the park advised we could fill our FW tank near the office. We had booked the site via internet while on the road and arrived after hours. Our packet was not posted so I spoke with Caitlyn in the morning who was very nice and accommodating. I have and will continue to recommend this campground.

The Buffalo, WY KOA is AWESOME!!! So clean and a nice distance from the interstate making it very quiet. The sites are spotless and the grass is well taken care of. No mud!! If you stay at any KOAs you want to stay in Billings, MT and Buffalo, WY. Two of the best KOAs I have stayed at.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Buffalo KOA, and we enjoyed our time immensely! The staff was very helpful and responsive, even in the off-season, which is when we stayed both times.

We arrived after the office had closed. Our nighttime packet was there so we were able to find our site easily. Basically it was just a go to bed and get up and go type visit so we didn’t really have an opportunity to look around the park. generally it was OK, but didn’t appear to be well manicured compared to some other KOA Parks. I’m sure it is fine for a one night stay.

The campground is beautiful, it’s on the river and very peaceful. The facility was very well maintained and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

I made the mistake of booking my stay one day early, so I was a no show. When I arrived the Camp Host found the error and said no problem and checked me in without having to rebook. Much appreciated!

New section does not drain well after a moderate rain. Also, too many rocks placed at campsite. Otherwise a great park.

This is a beautiful campground!! The hosts were very friendly and helpful when we needed some help with a minor repair. We’re highly recommend staying here!!

This campground is beautiful and easy to get to. We stayed overnight and did some laundry. The facilities were spotless and the staff friendly and helpful. We walked down to have dinner at the Cattle Guard restaurant and enjoyed a delicious dinner. We would definitely come back to this campground and explore the area if we get a chance.

Very friendly. Nice clean laundry. Dog park a little small and gravelly but very clean. Nice proximity to town and we walked to the Cattleguard for an amazing dinner.

Beautiful grounds with a Creek running right next to my campsite… Just perfect! The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and all areas of the campground were clean and welcoming.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
