Some of the tent pads had standing water. We were able to switch to a different site however the tent pad was not big enough for our tent. We ended up renting a cabin for the night.

Yes, it has been really wet even our raised tent pads are saturated. Remember at check-in, we said we were at 250% of normal for rain in our area? It even rained the day you arrived. I'm glad we were able to accomodate you in cabin. It is very likely the next time you stay we will be dried out. :)

It is a very nice place but the fireworks that were set off within the park every night by other campers was very disturbing.

Fireworks are not allowed in our park. We checked frequently throughout the park. A phone call would have helped at the time and leaving feedback in a review leaves both of us without recourse. Fireworks are part of this holiday and we all have to manage our needs in light of that reality.

KOA was great. Fireworks right nearby were not good for our dog. Will stay up in the mountains next time.

The fireworks on the Fourth of July can be a challenge for dogs and their humans. Thankfully this is just a one time event that we can prepare for in advance.

Check in easy. Grounds are well kept. Laundry facility clean. Restrooms clean. Easy in and out. Trees are trimmed for big rigs. Sites are comfortable and early accessible. Would stay there again.

Great park. Easy to find and quiet with a creek flowing behind the property. Two dog parks and nice office store.

Very nice campground. Looks like things have been upgraded and taken care of. Sites plenty big enough with good room in between. Only there for one night but one of the nicest KOA’s we stayed at on our 3 week journey to some of the western states.

VERY IMPRESSED. Buffalo is a regular visit for us… former resident of area… we would certainly stop again. Beautiful space near Clear Creek, wonderful patio and furniture and provided solo stove and grill very much appreciated.

Loved the camping cabin with the grill and swing out front. The owners/family were very personable & helpful finding hiking trails. The grounds were very nice and close to the river and a convenience store. Loved our 2 night stay.

Always clean, quiet and plenty for the kids to do when in camp. Staff always is friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate the best they can. Our go to camping spot when we are in the area.

We stayed for one night, wished it could have been longer nevertheless we had an excellent site easy to get to and easy to depart. General store was above par showers were clean laundry facilities in excellent condition. Great stay gir the young children!!! Nana from Georgia ♥��♥��♥��

Booked last minute due to a change in travel plans. The only site left was a completely fenced one for dogs. Holy cow do I wish every KOA had these. Awesome view from inside out to creek. Nice fire pit. Dogs loved being outside all afternoon. The privacy outside in the area with the dogs was like none we have experienced at a campground. It was definitely one of the best KOA sites we have stayed @

Stay was great , staff is wonderful , very nice , accommodating, didn’t use facilities but it’s a very nice KOA campground . My only complaint is the sites are very close . Stayed for 5 days , will definitely stay again . During the summer , it fills up after check in , and empties out in morning . Great stopping point . Staff checks the sites everyday making sure it’s all good for the next

They are experts at their jobs - Alyssa has been doing this since she was 13-over 7 years-and can run our office blindfolded! Rowan has been doing this for 6 years and is the most capable manager - I appreciate her easy going style!

Wonderful campground with awesome hosts! We were backed up to a rushing River and it was so tranquil. Clean, well appointed sites with good water pressure!

This is our 3rd year with the Buffalo KOA, and we choose this location every year because of how clean the cabins are, the shower house is cleaned daily and as an OCD person, I LOVE THAT! I always enjoy seeing their friendly faces when we arrive because I never stress about how my stay is going to go. Thanks guys!

This is probably the nicest KOA of ANY level we have stayed at- and we have stayed at close to a dozen. Staff was very helpful, sites were level and roomy, restrooms and showers were fine, and the location was on the river!

Just one night, campground was clean, quiet, and nice. The staff were friendly and polite. I was mistakenly charged for some damage I didn’t cause. The staff realized THEIR mistake, and contacted me immediately to apologize, and remove the charge to my account. I greatly appreciate their quick response and their admission of their mistake. I highly recommend this campground.

Wow! What a great KOA!! We truly enjoyed the site, the stream, the cleanliness, the layout! Buffalo has become my very favorite KOA! Keep up the great work! We will definitely return and hope Site 55 is available 👍🏻🇺🇸

Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!
