Highly recommend Bucksport/Fort Knox KOA. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Our plans changed and we had to change dates for our stay and the staff were able to manage our schedule and stay. Very thankful to the staff at Bucksport KOA! VA

We had a very rainy and cold weekend however, we absolutely loved the campground and wished we could have done more while we were there. The staff were very sweet and kind, the play ground and campground itself was clean. We will definately be back again so that we can enjoy all the amenities with our 7 year old daughter.

It has been so cold. I feel like is Oct not May and June. Hopefully next time you come the weather will be more seasonable. They do say any day camping is a good day....

Such a great Campground, one of the best KOA's we have stayed at. All great campers, great owners, and very well kept. Well worth the 3hr drive to stay. Can't wait to return �

Outstanding customer service. As someone who has worked in the customer service field for many decades, I say Bravo!! Very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit. Would recommend the Bucksport Fort Knox Holiday KOA campground without hesitation. It is truly a crown jewel for that person who is looking for a peaceful place to unwind.

The owners are so nice and more than happy to assist with any need. The campground was immaculate. The camp store has a nice variety of goods. I totally enjoyed my stay. I totally enjoyed my stay.

Had a very nice Memorial Day weekend. Nice Changing made since our last visit. The only issue we have is the price has gone up significantly since we last visited. May keep us from staying here again.

We are glad you enjoyed your holiday weekend. We have made many upgrades in the past 4 years since your last visit. And since Covid everything from improvements, taxes, insurance, electricity and everything else cost a lot more money. Our guests comfort and enjoyment are our number one priority.

Excellent place to stay. Owners were very helpful and the pizza & ice cream was delicious. After a long day in the bicycle, it was nice to stay in a clean comfortable cabin.

Maureen & David are Super friendly hosts - we actually extended our stay another day because of how clean & extremely well maintained the campsites were ( and also quiet) We will definitely be back when we come back to Maine - we will be back!

Great little campground, clean and quiet! Only problem we had was brown tail moth caterpillars at our site but that is probably an unavoidable thing this time of year as they are bad a lot of places. My husband is highly reactive to them so made it a little stressful but that is no fault of the campground. Just putting it out there for others to be aware because they can give a horrible rash.

Glad you like our park. Those Moths are horrible. I also have a hard time with them. Keeping your outdoor furniture wiped down every day does help. Cant wait to see you again.

We had an amazing time at the Bucksport Orland KAO!! The hospitality, personable interactions, and security and freedom for the kids was great!! 10 out of 10, we will be back again!!

We had a Great Stay; everyone was very friendly. Would only suggest that the dog park be a little bigger !! My husband said the ice cream experience was something to laugh at !!

The Greenlaws were super friendly and helpful. The site we stayed at was very nice with a concrete patio with a fire pit and a table and chairs.

What a GREAT campground with even BETTER people!!!! The greeting we received on arrival was amazing! The store is fantastic, especially all the craft work. The goodie bag was such a nice touch and I was thrilled to see my name on the welcome board on the porch. The facilities were extremely clean. We were upgraded on our site and the site was exceptional. We look forward to visiting again!

I stayed here while taking the local motorcycle class. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The campground is beautiful and has everything you need. I stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was adorable! The cabin was so clean! I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area. Highly recommended!

Good location for exploring Bay of Fundy area. Prety basic services; clean restroom. Late in season, so not much happening. Good recommendations for eating spots.

We spent 6 months touring around Maine. This was our favorite place to stay. Marlene and David are great hosts and care deeply about their campground and their guests.

Beautiful campground. Loved the personal touches like the phone call the morning of checking. Great seasonal decorations. They even helped take waste pipe off trailer. Must go back for longer stay.

Outstanding Fall experience! David and Marlene were fantastic. So friendly and fun and went out of their way to make it special for us! We had a great site and it was right at the tail end of their season! The leaves are beautiful and it's just a fun place to be!

Campgrounds were great. Clean well kept. Actually gave us a welcoming gift when we checked in which is unheard of. Gentleman that parked us extremely helpful. They should have a 10but only given 1-5 to choose from.

One of the best KOA's I have been to. Beautiful campground, friendly hosts, incredibly well maintained. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was an awesome experience. Very nice, comfortable, and fun; the experience of tent camping with none of the challenges. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, refrigerator, propane grill, etc. The campground is in a great location relative to bar harbor and Acadia National park as well as other things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this KOA for anyone wanting to go camping in Maine. Thanks David and Marlene!!
