We enjoyed it very much. The breakfast cafe was very good. For some reason the hot water took nearly 5 mins to get hot then it quit about 3 mins in a shower. Then it came back again. The play ground was a hit with my granddaughter. She just loved it. We made reservations to be back in July.

The staff was Chick-Fil-A levels of friendly and I appreciated that. The game room is awesome and nostalgic. There is plenty of area to walk the dog and fenced-in dog play areas. I had fast wifi (always use a VPN btw), breakfast on site and you are a short walk from the State Park and several great restaurants and breweries. I only live 30 miles away, but I'll definitely be coming back again!

We had a short stay. The campground is clean and well maintained. They sent a text message saying to Message them at that number if you needed anything. I sent 2 messages and never received a reply, the first asking for an early check-in, the other about annoying music in the park. If you are not monitoring the text, then don't offer the service.

Staff was very friendly and available if we needed them but left us alone to enjoy our friends. Some KOAs are in your face and you feel like your under a microscope, Buckeye Lake was not that way! Love it.

Amazing campground! We stayed for an overnight on our travels east and would love to come back and take advantage of more of the amenities. Highly recommend!!

My second stay at Buckeye Lake KOA. I love this campground. Clean, well maintained and I really appreciate the clean bathrooms and showers. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll stay here again when in the area.

Had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend camping even with the rain. Great camp ground with friend staff and other campers. Will be returning in the future.

Good time with friends, unfortunately it rained all Friday night so it was very sloppy around the sites. Other than that we had a good time in the mud.

The staff was very helpful and very nice. I have camped a few times at this location and just wish there was a way for this campground to deal with all the water issues. It’s just always wet everywhere.

We only stayed one night as we passed thru the area. We felt the area was beautiful and the campground provided familiar surroundings a security to get a good nights sleep.

Great staff, nice grounds, well stocked general store. When there was an issue with the cable they tried to make it right. Free Wi-Fi. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great location and a wonderful campground. The satellite washroom location was convenient but could do with a bit of maintenance. Nothing major just a few updates. Overall though the sites are well laid-out and all the hook-ups worked as expected.

Super friendly and welcoming folks here at the Buckeye Lake KOA! Our site was lovely…level and nice patio with furniture was a treat! Lots of trees and grass throughout the campground made it a very peaceful and beautiful spot to stop. Will have to return someday when we can send more time!

Debbie helped straighten out a technical glitch with the reservation prior to my arrival. Everyone was wonderful and welcoming. My w/e site was close to restrooms and showers. During the week was quiet. I'm sure weekends get very busy. Looks like there is lots to do.

My kids had athletic events near there so we decided to stay for the weekend. We also invited multiple other people (2 cabins and another campsite came with us). There were two very large boys at the playground that were awful. One of them assaulted one of the children in our group by punching him in the face. He then tackled two others. We later found out he was an employee’s. This is unaccept

Great place, friendly staff, clean and modern showers. Actually had the cooked to order breakfast and it was delicious. The only minor issue was the dog park, could have been mowed more but it was also wet so I understand. Will plan to stay again for sure.

I've stayed across the country visiting national parks for seven years am a KOA member most of the time. This KOA is among if not the best I've ever visited. Cleanest by far not a cigarette butt in the fire places no litter everything in excellent condition. Staff is professional and courteous to a fault.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
