Have been going to this Koa for 40 years. Loved the old management. This year new management not the same. May try again in the future it's sad it was always our go to campground.

Nice location right near the lake. Very nice and helpful folks at the check-in. The bathroom showers were very small and the shower curtains did not reach the ground so water ran out all over the floor which made for a messy drying off after the shower. All in all it was nice place.

We were there for a Holiday weekend because of a softball tournament. Sat. And Sunday the park was full by Monday the toilets and Showers were shut down at one location which forced taking showers to a location that was much smaller and not clean at all! All of the activities were shut down after Sunday and even the planned events were cancelled. We should have left Monday with everyone else!

Great place. The parents just need to keep the kids under control at 10:00. Otherwise, it is great.

No cable TV at the campsite but antenna digital TV reception was fine. On the last night we got noisy neighbors with 4 kids and 2 small dogs. The dogs always barked at us when outside of our RV and at all passersby. When breaking down on the morning of our departure, both dogs lunged at me barking but were stopped about 1 foot short of my legs by their leases. A very unnerving experience.

Campground could use some changes. We were parked near the Seasonal campers. Looks more like a dumpy trailer park to me. I understand having the seasonals but other KOA's we have been to separate them from the remainder of the part. Lawns were unkept, sites were real tight width wise, and then you have the music. I love music but what they had was over the top loud until 10pm. So much for relaxing

Our trip started as a nightmare with Steve at the helm of our bad experience. I called a day or so before to ask about the overflow parking. We are at a lake koa and wanted to bring our jet ski. Steve was very rude and when we got off the call promptly cancelled our reservation on his own free will. We got no calls or emails. We showed up and continued to be disrespected by Steve. To name a few.

The last time we were there the camp ground had more kids activities. The activity they did have the kids liked it. Don't like that the price of fire wood went up almost $3.

It was a nice stay There could definitely be some things they could improve, such as their antique children’s playground. They could use benches in the common area for parents to sit and supervise their kids at play. Also people were smoking everywhere, and that was very bothersome and we left several activities due to smoking ,

We had a great time! The location was awesome, it is an older park, but my kiddos didn't seem to mind! We will definitely be back!

Nice park for a busy weekend. Great location from the highway yet no highway noise. We didn't have power to our site and once alerted, staff was quick to respond and fix the issue. One complaint is that we received the text messages that said if we needed anything (firewood, ice, assistance...) to text back. We used it several times and never got a response or the requested items and assistance.

Great weekend at buckeye lake, well stocked camp store, wood delivery service was always driving around and plenty of activities for the kids. We would come back here again! Just wish they would put down more gravel on the main roads, very dusty.

We were on site 230. When we arrived we thought it would not work for us but we were able to move the picnic table to the back and enjoy our site. Everyone was accommodating and nice. Very clean campground and things to always do. We did have a little drama viewing with a guest staying in a cabin but the staff handled it very well. We’ve made Memorial Day weekend a yearly event. Normally a place we really enjoy I’m not anti kid but it was out of control the bicycles going every direction the electric motor cycles sometimes 3 kids on at the same time the 5-6 year old driving golf carts we cringed every time there was a near miss only a matter of time before someone gets hurt and the dust was ridiculous and all going on why employees were watching not one said a word

Very nice. The sites in the 200’s need clearer numbers. Must have run out of numbers. Would have rated higher but no hot water in Men’s showers but more importantly the toilets Do not clear when flushed. Thanks

It was full of full-timers with stuff all over that sped through the campground. Our space was tight and uneven. One of the housekeepers for the cabins was rude and never saw her without a cigarette so anytime we saw her on a walk we had to turn around or smell it for the next 10 minutes. Nice people in the office though.

Overall very good people there very friendly and helpful to 1st time r.v camper. Only drawbacks were unavailable propane, somewhat spotty wifi, and pool not being open (oe even filled)

It was very nice. Lots of shade. We prefer a little more privacy than we got on site 192. But it wasnt busy so it worked out. People are very friendly.

The amenities for children are rundown and mostly broken. As far as helping you, they are ready to help immediately. One of the check in people should have some retraining on how to communicate with customers. Overall, it was a good trip for us.

Very enjoyable stay. Beautiful well maintained campground. The only problem I encountered was our water went off one morning and I texted the number that the campground texted me with I didn’t get a response but the water was back on later in the day. I just wish someone would have responded. Otherwise a great campground and had a lovely weekend.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
