We really enjoyed our stay there. Our grandkids loved the breakfast at the cafe on Sunday morning and the nice lady who cooked for them. It was very quiet up in the cabin in the woods. We drove to the zoo and olentangy Indian caverns while staying there also.

This is the second time we have brought our granddaughters here and we all love it. There is so much for all ages to do!! Everyone was so kind and friendly. Very accommodating!!

When we arrived we realized we'd booked a different site than what we remembered. The gal who was driving the cart called the manager and requested a change which we were immediately granted. We were very grateful for that kindness. We enjoyed our stay very much and the convenience of being close to the dog park!

Stayed three nights - two were tent camping and we used one of the cottages on the last night to avoid heavy rains. Great facilities and things for kids to do. Enjoyed the pool which had extended hours to 8 pm which was convenient. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Really enjoyed our stay!

Traveling across country and this was by far the best RV park we found. It was spacious, quiet, and full of mature trees that did not interfere with slide outs. The staff was great and friendly and the area was wonderful. Wish we had more time to explore Buckeye Lake.

We stayed for one night on our way to Illinois to see family. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Nice campground, clean bathrooms.

Beautiful campground with a great team. We had a FHU site that easily fit our 42' 5th wheel. The pool was great, the weekend cafe was delicious, and the store was stocked with basic needs and a lot of fun gifts. Plenty for the kids to do and the weekend activities were a great surprise. The walking path along the lake was a great suggestion by a team member. We will be back!

Great activities for kids and lots of area for dogs. Only negative is that the pool wall needs a major cleaning with magic eraser or something. Nasty looking. But the pool itself was clean looking.

Excellent experience as always. We've been staying at the Buckeye Lake KOA for many years. My only complaint is the per night site price - it's getting to be a bit much for the amenities.

My first impression was when I walked in to check in,you three at the front were so friendly and had your stuff together. You checked me in so fast (maybe 3 minutes) if that and I was on my way to spot #142. The rest of the stay was a breeze and since I can't blame you for the horrible heat and humidity we had a fantastic stay!! John and Teresa White

The campground itself was fine, quiet, lots of shaded sites, everything worked, and water pressure was amazing. It’s a KOA Holiday, we were there on vacation for 6 days. No activities, jump pillow was only open once for 90 minutes the entire 6 days. Peddle bikes and store both locked up at 5pm, pool at 7:45. It was during the week in summer, very disappointing.

Have stayed here several times in prior years. Was extremely disappointed in how small the lots were and how close together they were. We could not even put out one awning due to a tree right next to us, plus the area between our camper and the ones on either side was not much wider than my camper. For the price charged was expecting larger lots and more green space.

I felt that the campground was somewhat subpar for what other KOA's have been. one thing in particular is the men's restroom wasn't cleaned for at least three days maybe four. Sites were very small and squeezed together. There was plenty for our grandkids to do.

We went out a week early to make our reservations for our stay and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, in that they tried to put us and our travel friend as close together as they could. Worked out very nicely, to start our trek to Mt. Rushmore.

The office was only open until 5pm. We bought a bundle of wood from a guy for $8.00 I thought that was excess, the most I have paid at any KOA. And the the expensive wood would not burn very well. Had to use a bellow to keep it burning. They won’t let you bring wood in, and then they charge a high price for sun-standard wood…not good.

Going for years but this time was ok.Staff was nice.Shop, and services shut down at 5pm during week, middle of summer rush. Gameroom shutdown early. Had deluxe cabin but when time for bonfire, no lighter. Was told must have been taken & would need to purchase. The deluxe ones are most expensive & are to have everything you need but had missing items. Wifi was weak, air conditioner barely cooled.

Friendly staff, nice area, LOTS of things for kids, clean bathrooms, ability to text with front office. Quiet area about 30 minutes away from Columbus Convention Center with easy access to two I-70 ramps and a TA just minutes down the road. This campground is exactly what I expect when the KOA name is on the signboard.

Kids are should not have an extra fee Kids bikes should remain available just like pool hours Pool should be open longer for adults One of the workers, a young woman, yelled at us to go slower in our vehicle when we were going 6-8 miles instead of 5. However, we witnessed her go flying around the drives in her golf cart. She paid no attention to anyone around her. Very happy with our stay.

We were disappointed that the amenities were not open every day and that the pool wasn’t open longer hours. We also were put off by the younger dark long haired girl who wasn’t the most pleasant to us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Columbus/Buckeye Lake KOA. Sheri was very gracious and really went above and beyond when we had a minor electrical issue. Literally within minutes, Bruce, one of the maintenance guys was on the scene diagnosing the problem. It was fixed as soon as possible, and we had a great weekend. There were lots of activities and things to do. GREAT JOB BL/COL KOA!

Great stay. Only complaint is the Lady calling Bingo and giving the prizes for Bingo let individuals at one point raid the gift box and take what the want. She seemed to not like her job there. She was extremely rude when asked to repeat numbers. She could have benefited from a microphone. Will not play Bingo with her agin. She really didn’t care that some elderly folks were struggling to enjoy

I've stayed across the country visiting national parks for seven years am a KOA member most of the time. This KOA is among if not the best I've ever visited. Cleanest by far not a cigarette butt in the fire places no litter everything in excellent condition. Staff is professional and courteous to a fault.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
