Nothing wrong with the place in general, but our reservation wasn't ready when we came and I'm not sure why. We reserved earlier the same day with the notice of late arrival and when we got there, there was no reservation packet. They did however answer our email of concern, and we were able to find available space, so our stay was acceptable. I would consider staying again.

We have been staying at this KOA for several years now and have always enjoyed ourselves, but I do have to say this year was even better. Everything was functional, the exposed mud pits from last year were fixed, the new deluxe cabins were very nice and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

We stayed in the cabins at the back of the park. Lots of room back there for the kids to run around and play and close enough to the bathrooms. We arrived late, but the camp host greeted us and brought us firewood. In fact, the nice men worked all weekend delivering wood and ice, and even took us for a hay ride! We would recommend a cabin again!

I would have given a 5, however, they don’t let you pick your site in advance When you go with a group it makes it very difficult. The staff was wonderful though and found sites for us beside each other.

It was disappointing that some of the amenities are closed during the day and not open all the time. I wish the pool had been open earlier in the day. Some of the adults in our group like to use the pool in the morning before the kids get in. EVERY shower stall had a line of mold at the bottom...one of our party is highly allergic to mold and couldn't use the showers.

Awesome staff and well kept park with lots of activities for everyone! The pool and Mini Golf were our favorites.

We really enjoyed our stay. Would have given a 5, but the sight we were in was horrible. We have been camping for 10 years, so we are not newbies. Our spot was very unlevel. We could not even put our levelers down in the rear. This spot is not made for a long trailer. There were so many other nice pull thru level spots that were not occupied all weekend. Don’t know why we got put in this spot.

It was very nice. Our grandson has trouble finding a campground where he can use his tent. I'm hoping he can come with us next time we come. I thought it was a bit high priced.. hard on retired folks to afford to come as much as we would like.

Enjoy this location a ton! It's the 1st Kampground we ever tried pre travel trailer and it does not disappoint. Our 6 year old enjoys I as well. There were no activities this past weekend as advertised but you're a nice bikeride from the lake and stuff to keep yourself occupied.

I was parked in back, near a stagnant stream and large mud hole. The odor was horrible! Fortunately my windows stayed closed. It is a crowded campground with no visual appeal. Plus the smell!

The bathrooms were not clean by any measure. Our group has stayed at this campground for over 7 years. I will warn you, don't assume you are quiet enough just because security does not come to your site for a warning. They refused to renew us for any future bookings. I have never in my life been kicked out of a campground, nor been treated so rudely by management personnel, only 1 individual.

Just passed through for the night. Excellent late check-in procedures and directions, and all explained over the phone ahead of time. The customer service here is excellent. The campground and facilities looked great for my brief stay.

Pleasantly surprised. Nice pull through sites. Pretty campsite - well maintained. Nice staff. Nice grass areas. Nice dog park. Only stayed overnight but would like to come back. Good Wi-Fi and TV. Thank you

I made our reservation months in advance of our stay, paid $111.00, thinking that would take care of our stay. Imagine my surprise when we were charged an $76.00 upon arrival, and that was after subtracting a $20 something dollar discount for our age or veteran status. When the next day I questioned your office employee, I was your rates vary from one day to the next. Never again will we stay.

We stayed at Buckeye Lake KOA two separate nights (4 nights apart) as we were coming and going to an annual camping event in northern Michigan. It's a strategic, sort-of-halfway location -- but more importantly, we love the warm welcomes and professional service provided on the way through. Next year we'll definitely extend our stay on one end of the trip or the other!

There was a change in management and our reservation was changed without us knowing. There was no hot water in the handicap mens shower. There are some big dead trees that need to be cut down. It looks like new management was tying to fix some issues so hopefully it will be before we come back next year. Great location for mopar nationals show.

The Kamper Kabin was fine but definitely should have been swept & mopped before our stay. The kids enjoyed the amenities while they were staffed/open. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms, especially the one in the back near the cabins, were without paper towels and soap all weekend and really needed cleaning. Considering these were the ones nearest most "primitive" campers, I expected better.

Very very very nice campground. We travel a lot and use mostly KOA campgrounds. Each one we go to we say...this one is nice. Then we go on our next adventure and we say the same thing about our new site. Your standards are amazing and the people who follow them....Spectacular! We'll be back....somewhere....

We really enjoyed our stay there. Our grandkids loved the breakfast at the cafe on Sunday morning and the nice lady who cooked for them. It was very quiet up in the cabin in the woods. We drove to the zoo and olentangy Indian caverns while staying there also.

This is the second time we have brought our granddaughters here and we all love it. There is so much for all ages to do!! Everyone was so kind and friendly. Very accommodating!!

When we arrived we realized we'd booked a different site than what we remembered. The gal who was driving the cart called the manager and requested a change which we were immediately granted. We were very grateful for that kindness. We enjoyed our stay very much and the convenience of being close to the dog park!

Stayed three nights - two were tent camping and we used one of the cottages on the last night to avoid heavy rains. Great facilities and things for kids to do. Enjoyed the pool which had extended hours to 8 pm which was convenient. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Really enjoyed our stay!

Traveling across country and this was by far the best RV park we found. It was spacious, quiet, and full of mature trees that did not interfere with slide outs. The staff was great and friendly and the area was wonderful. Wish we had more time to explore Buckeye Lake.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
