I reported a 110 plug on the electrical box that needed to be replaced. No action was taken. In addition, we were not informed that we needed to carry trash ourselves to the large trash bins positioned relatively far away from our camp site. In other KOA parks, trash was taken out to the road immediately in front of our site and picked up by regularly by KOA staff.

This our second stay in one month. The first stay they had, almost, all of the laundry was down. They said parts were ordered. The is a HOLIDAY KOA. Come on man. This stay, instead of fixing the machines they put up a sign CLOSED TO FURTHER NOTICE. There was no notice at check-in yet they charge you the same price. I’ve stayed at KOA Journeys that are better than BUCKEYE LAKE.

Managers husband was a complete xxxx. Threatened to kick me out because I wanted the site next of me fire pit moved. It was 6'2" from my 40 lb propane tank. I believe the code is >10'. Stayed one night and left.

We had a very nice stay at this park. We visited family in the area so didn’t spend a lot of time in park however staff were exceptionally friendly, check in was smooth. Our site was long and level with nice patio/fire pit. Sites are pretty close to each other but didn’t present any issues. Roads in park are nice and wide and easy to navigate with big rigs

Small but extremely nice campground. Level sites, clean, well kept. Very close to I70 and easy to get to. I highly recommend this campground. Pull through sites were long enough for coach and tow vehicle.

Would have been five stars but the camper beside me left their dogs in the camper all day. I don’t go camping to hear dogs barking all day long it makes your stay not relaxing and irritating

Overnighted here and loved this KOA. Friendly, accommodating staff. CG was very nice and very quiet. Wished we could have stayed longer to explore the area. Will be back for sure! Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Shady parking areas, very clean facilities and plenty on activities to do. Most of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back.

Amenities are lacking here. Laundry out of order, there is a cafe but it is closed. The owners of this KOA need to take note. The campsites are very run down and the site fees are out of line for what you are getting here. This is the worst KOA that we have stayed at. We will be looking for another option when we pass through this area.

I get to stay here in Cabin #1 at least once a month and I love everything about it-it is my home away from home. Friendly staff, clean park, amenities and cabin and ideal location across from my office. See you again soon!

Decent price for 1 night while traveling. Poor ampage for electric & on Labor Day office closed at 5:00. Decent location when traveling. Poor TV cable & had to switch to antenna to get weather and news.

Great stay for the Labor Day weekend. Pool time was wonderful, roomy site, no problems with WIFI or hookups.

Normally we rate our stay's much higher. While the facility was very nice and the people as well, their laundry was out of order. One of the many reasons we stay at the KOA facilities is because of the consistency from campground to campground. We should have been informed of the problem so we could make alternate choices for laundry. Moving forward, KOA WILL NOT be my first choice.

Stayed Labor Day, 2024. Park was full…sites are close and tight. We were here for 1 night. It was a holiday, Labor Day, the park was close to 100% occupancy, and one close by site was overly celebrating with alcohol and extremely loud music. There was no KOA representative available to enforce the rules… Not a restful stay

Broken glass, beer cans, and trash not cleaned out of fire pit prior to check in. DJ Todd too loud. This KOA wanted to charge $30 per site to reserve a buddy site - KOA Corporate says the fee should be $10. Management of this campground has deteriorated with the sale from Mike and Shirley to the out of state owners. New manager is not as effective as Rhonda was.

I would like to give a shout out to all the staff. Everyone was incredibility kind. We have never stayed at this location. The sites are very close together and we didn't know that the middle was buddy. Fortunately for us our neighbors were nice. The pool was not heated and very small. It was very crowded on Sunday when everyone seemed to want to enjoy the water.

The site are overly crowded together, I felt like we didn't have any place to breathe. Also, we should have been warned we were in a buddy site. This was an unfortunate surprise. Our neighbors had several kids and we spent the weekend feeling like we were in their way on our own campsite. Never again!

The weekend was filled with activities for the adults and the children to enjoy! The atmosphere was relaxing and the other campers were very respectful.

Everyone was very Friendly and helpful. All the staff were very nice! I liked being able to text the office and get my questions answered. The DJ WAS VERY GOOD and put on a Great show. I will definitely be Back hopefully in October.

The stay is always great!The kids have been really disappointed though in the stay, they are opening events late and closing events early, “due to staffing issues” as this happens but not every weekend. The management needs to step up the game and speak up before they lose things. All of us campers want to spend weekends enjoying ourselves and that is those of us with kids know kids need fun

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
