Terrible sewage smell across the campground. Unfriendly staff. We were told the pool would close at dusk or at 8:00pm, however a staff member came to us in the pool at 7:25pm stating that the pool is now closed. We will not be returning to the campground.

We were there on a Thurs-Fri stay. We brought our grandchildren because I thought there was lots to play, well come to find out nothing but the pool and small playground was open. You need to let people know that those extra things are only open on Saturday and Sunday! So disappointing.

We had a very nice stay at the Buckeye Lake KOA this past week (7/1-7/5). While the weather did not cooperate, the proximity to the amenities of the lake made the trip just as enjoyable with the many options for restaurants and entertainment. We will be back!

Store closing WAY to early for a Holiday Weekend Gameroom locked at 9:00 pm on a rainy weekend with nothing for teens to do These r just a few things that have changed since new ownership. Maybe should be looked at for upcoming holidays

The staff was really friendly. Downfalls were the arcade ate many of our quarters, bikes were locked up by 7:00, and it was muddy. It would be great to have more gravel to keep things more clean.

Definetly pay the $15 site guarantee as the site we were on was very narrow. Clean campground, a lot of trees and like that you can bike to the lake. Friendly, helpful staff.

The shower house and restrooms were very clean. Everyone was nice and went out of their way to answer questions and to accommodate our group. We brought our boat and enjoyed the lake.

Had a great time. Enjoyed the free activities. Appreciate the meals offered for breakfast. My only concern is when people have dogs with them and they leave for the day, we hear nothing but constant barking! Plus under age kids unsupervised in the pool causing chaos. When ask where their parents were, they said none of your business. Othe than that, great time and enjoy camping there.

This was our first time at a KOA. Our kids liked the things to do such as bounce pad, bikes and games. However it was not very kid friendly during the dj bc people were smoking pot right there in the shelter house where everyone was. (Including employees) There was also a person walking around smoking pot which I did not appreciate having our children with us. The lots were extremely small.

Lots of sites, plenty to do for families & kids, our site was tight as picnic table was right next to sewer hookup, recommend newest sites that are larger, anything longer than 1 or 2 nights for 55Plus people, prepare yourself for lots of kids. Overall , not withstanding the excessive rain & mud, not a bad stay.

While tent camping there, a 20-30 foot branch fell on our tent destroying it. We had to leave that night and go to a hotel. We missed out on two nights that we had paid for and had to pay for a hotel. No workers were around to help or guide us as to what to do.

First visit so I picked our site unseen. I learned to ALWAYS check where the dumping stations for RV’s are because ewww. But that’s just a live and learn thing. Everyone was super friendly. Campground is well maintained and needs are met with a smile. I also love any place that has kitty cats hanging around for pets. Having to charge everything to my site or use cash sucks. Just a heads up

Our site was a premium site however it is not designed for a 40 ft fifth wheel with slide outs on both sides. Our slides hung over our neighbors patio. A little to close for comfort.

Love it. But, in site 175, the electrical had a ground fault preventing us from using the electrical. Had to move to another site, nice customer service by staff, if was an upgrade. Need to fix electric in site 175.

When notifying you, Debbie, Mike, and all, sure didn’t say, yes ma’am thank you for letting us know about the trash by the bathroom door that is full, or yes ma’am we really need to Mark our sites so you can see when entering, but no respect was shown, told, COUNT THE SITES TO FIND YOURS, &THE TRASH IS EMPTIED BETWEEN 8-11am. First time at this KOA.Very nice people working there. We stayed in a cabin which was ok., could of been cleaner. Office closes way to early so does the pool and paddle cars. Needs small table in bedroom for clothes. Probably would stay here again.

second time staying at this campground. first time in a tent and it's really nice. the public bathroom and showers were extremely clean i was highly impressed. the campgrounds are always neat and the staff is wonderful

A great experience! Friendly staff, clean facilities and a spacious camp site! Lots of activities to enjoy like swimming pool, mini golf and shuffle board. Buckeye Lake is within walking distance. Beautiful area! Will definitely return!

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
