The Willis Family has been on the this land for six generations. After Gary's daughters left for college, he decided to build a business he could walk from his house to his office in a matter of minutes. The KOA was born! Gary built the cabins and RV sites himself around the natural beauty of East Texas. In 2015, Gary retired and handed the park to the next generation, his daughter Katie and her husband Tony. They moved their family back into the family home and Dad moved across the street. They love living the KOA Camp Life! They have three children, Nathaniel, 10, Madelyn, 8, and Sicily, 4, who can almost always be seen playing and fishing in the park! Tony and Katie have continued Gary's legacy of building and have added a second swimming pool, four large Family style cabins and 16 more RV sites. They are so excited to host new generations of camping families!
