As always, this is the best campground I've ever stayed at. I would strongly suggest the owner utilize the unused space on the property to install some disc golf baskets for players to use. This KOA is centrally located between 4 world class disc golf courses and so many people would camp there if they knew there were practice baskets available to use.

The campground was nice but the cabins weren’t the best. The first night there we had bugs in the beds and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bathrooms weren’t very nice either and definitely need to be updated as well as the showers. Our favourite part of the campground was the pool. I don’t think we’ll end up getting a cabin again.

Your comments are surprising especially in light of how well received the cabins are. You have to remember these are camping cabins and we are a campground. We are not an upscale hotel and that is not the experience we are selling. And not what our customers want.

We had a great time.Rented one cabin and had our tent trailer...We made a BBQ in their shelter .The pool was really nice,warm and clean.Bathrooms were always clean.The staff were very nice

We arrived on Monday, July 31st and stayed for three nights checking out on Thursday, August 3rd. The campsite was very quiet overall. We stayed in Kabin KK1 which was directly behind the washroom, which was awesome. The shades need to be replaced in the Kabin, some where broken off letting light in from the lights outside. It would also be nice to have a flat bedsheet on the mattress.

Exceptional KOA Journey. Dog-friendly Cabin with half bath was cozy and clean; perfect location right next to Confederation trail. Grounds are so clean. A well-run site.

kids loved the pool. Bike rentals should be included in the price of the RV rental. BBQ is not at the site and should be advertised as acess to a community BBQ is available. Specific instructions should be provided on how and when to empty the tanks. Awning on RV was broken no other form of shade was provided an umbrella attached to the picnic table would be a great idea.

Hi. We appreciate your comments. Just to clarify. We indicated the awning was diabled because of the wind. It is not broken. Also, the toilet issue related to fabric type paper towels being flushed and was not the result of the storage tanks being full.

Stayed in a cabin. Lots to do for the kids. Enjoyed the stay and will be back in future. Donna and Barry always go above and beyond for their customers.

1st timer! We were very impressed. Love the rental RV, but the mattresses were really crappy. But the resort was awesome! We will go back for sure.

Fabulous time at this KOA! Barry and his wife are excellent hosts. They are attentive to requests and send daily updates on events or activities occurring at the park. The live music in the Music Hall is such a great event. We were able to enjoy the duo ,Julie and Danny, who are fantastic!!!!

Clean, cozy cabin with mini fridge and microwave. Clean campground, pool and playground entertained the kids with other activities to use from Office. Wish there was a wall lamp or bedside table with lamp.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. The cabins do not come as advertised. We were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. They are ok for a couple and not more regardless of what the website says.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We agree that the cabins with 1/2 baths are not suitable for a party of 5. We will be adding larger futons next year to make it more comfortable for a party of 4 and we have updated the description on the web site to indicate that the cabin is best for no more than 2 adults with children.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabins! Highly recommend Borden KOA for any age, but it was perfect for our young family with the pool, park, and jumpy pillow. The small size of the campground is perfect for young kids as everything is so close, and minimal traffic going in and out of the campground. We also loved having the confederation trail right there and enjoyed a walk to gateway village!

Disgusting cabins ... disgusting bathrooms . Owner is a complete jerk who can't ensure changeover are done but he sure can be exceptionally rude when your enjoying s morning coffee with neighbour's. Really doesn't like when you complain about the filth ! Absolutely disgusted and refused to refund my money!

It goes without saying that you can't wait until check out time, then start airing a bunch of grievances and demand a refund. Over 80% of our other guests rated us as a 5 out of 5 for guest satisfaction. That number speaks for itself.

Everything about it was amazing! We stayed in a cabin & it was very clean. The young lady in the store was so helpful and kind, she made us feel so welcomed! We cannot wait to stay again :)

Couldn’t find a hotel anywhere in PEI, we were going to resort to camping when we found the KOA with cabins! We got a cabin with a half bathroom. Beautiful little spot. Not to much vehicle noise even though it’s along hwy. Also had live music in the evening, was a perfect way to spend our trip to PEI, had a little fire and sat on the porch of the cabin! Great little cabin . Would definitely recommend this place for a stay to anyone . Staff very friendly and my son really enjoyed the pool , park and bouncing ballon.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in one of the rental trailers. The staff were always so wonderful to talk to and very helpful. The live music was a great treat :) The campground was clean and spacious. We didn't feel squished up to our neighbours, which was a pleasant surprise! We will definitely return next time we are on the island! :)

Was so much better then expected. Was so a great launch point for our adventures each day. Place was so clean. Hot water for showers. Laundry was clean and easy to use. Music every couple of night's was also a nice change. Good job.

Very near the Confederation bridge. Easy to find. Decent size camping sites but it seems to be expanding so many sites had no trees yet.

Beau camping très bien situé pour arrêter en route. Beau parc avec trampoline et parc à chiens. Toilettes super propres et douches gratuites ! Il y a même une salle de spectacle avec des prestations en saison.

Definitely a great stay! Eveeyone is friendly. Lots of stuff for the kids to play with. Quiet and clean. The BBQs are free to use and includes propane, and free showers. Will definitely stay again. Also we rented a cabin there and it was great!
