Staff was great & campgrounds in a beautiful spot. Just a couple of suggestions 1. Either do a daily trash pickup or provide trash containers closer to back sections, 2. Sites need to be better leveled. Thank you

Its more 3.5 than 3. The staff was great the site was nice. The rating is not to look bad on the camp ground its just that others we've been to have more to offer. We felt a little cramped but that goes for most KOA's

It was a very clean campground, including the bathrooms. It was just not our kind of place. The sites are just too close together. Not really enough area to park on site with our camper. The picnic tables & fire pit are way too close to the camper. We've stayed in other KOA's and we had more space and privacy.

Boone KOA is always an easy-in, easy-out prospect for us! The staff are friendly and helpful and the location js beautiful and close to all the things we love to do in the Boone area.

The facilities were great and the staff was great. I would stay again for sure. If I had one comment for improvement the showers were a little cramped. However, the atmosphere and staff far outweigh the comment on the showers. I would recommend it to my family for sure.

Our site was 12” out of level front to back. Sewer connection so low in the ground you couldn’t hook the sewer hose to it. Staff was nice and friendly but we were disappointed in the site we had and only stayed one night instead of the two nights we had reserved.

Unbeknownst to us, we were assigned a site that was by the park waste plant (right near the campground store). We didn't know where the waste smell was coming from. The host told us it was right next to us behind a wooden fence. My wife got sick from the smell. It was putrid! How dare a State Campground.have a waste processing plant near campers and make money from them! We'll never return here.

Although the camp sites were a bit close together, (in our opinion) We will camp here again. It is a very well cared for campground. We found friendly people were camping during our stay. The views from the office/store were beautiful. It is a safe and fun place for families with small children. It has a small playground. There is also a fenced in area for feeding goats.

Boone KOA Holiday were very helpful securing a spot for us on our travels. The site was full hookups (which everything worked) they have laundry room, firewood and everything we needed.

Beautiful area with lots of things to do. Campground experience was excellent, great patio site, convenient location, and well managed facility. Will definitely return. Stayed 10 days in a class A motorhome 35 ft towing.

As always, this KOA might be small and tucked in the mountains of North Carolina, but the atmosphere is amazing and the staff beyond professional. We make it a habit to visit at least twice or more a year and every time it’s the same quality you’d expect every time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was beautiful as the trees were starting to turn and drop. Being able to see the mountains from our site was nice! We also appreciated the very specific directions to find the KOA Boone.

Beautiful area but horrible sites. Very un-level with lots of tree roots and tight spots. Extremely difficult to maneuver and set up.

Nice campground, plenty of amenities. Campsites are on a hillside, so they are not level. Not really easy to unhook and rehook.

First time travel trailer owner on first road trip with 21 foot camper. The friendly staff was most understanding, reserving an easy access pull-through site for us and offering assistance if needed during set up. This family friendly campground is in a beautiful location. Shower rooms are exceptionally clean. We have already scheduled a return visit.

Watching the leaves turn brilliant colors all within a week and fall to blanket the ground in shimmering yellows and reds and browns was so nice. This Campground was convenient to everything we did. And it was clean and enjoyable. I love that every site is a pull through. Makes it easier for us newbies at backing in!

Such a nice relaxing place my only complaint is the firewood we bought at the camp store was very green. It burned poorly, smoked a lot, and popped embers all over. The next morning I found two holes burned in my outside rug.

We have stayed in KOA’s all over the US and this KOA Holiday in Boon,NC is one of the nicest, cleanest with the most amenities we have seen. Very neat, well kept, LARGE sites and the nicest staff !! We will definitely be back !!!

Great place but really hard to get our of spot. Branch needs to be cut on space 31. 4 people had to help navigating back instead of forward even though it is a pull thru. Please cut branch. Tks

Like most KOAs the large RVs get the best sites— trailer sites have the amenities but the sites don't have a grass area. I do give Boone’s site a big thumbs up for a dog park

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
