We enjoyed the convenience of the campground and the amenities offered. The facility is a little dated and worn with some minor repairs needed, but overall it was just what we needed for our short stay.

We were visiting Boone for a few days and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our spot was a little short for our camper.

No cable, weak WIFI. Mini golf course is torn up. Nice playground for the kids. If you have AT&T you'll have very weak reception.

Beautiful location great people we had a site that was not level that made removing load bars impossible basically had to undo and install bars off site but was a very pretty campground.

Check in staff, young man, very nice, helpful with showing site on map and other items of camp. Check in quick and easy. Disappointed with actual site. Seemed very narrow. My husband and I have difficulty walking on unlevel ground. Stepping up and down to connect power and water was difficult, my husband felt scared several times. I had hard time setting up our "doggie pen" fencing in the area.

Always a pleasure to visit Boone KOA. Blessed to spend most of a week there with our grandkids and leaving was the only disappointment. Love this campground and their wonderful staff.

Staff was very friendly. Kid friendly activities. Pool was clean and well kept. Mini golf course was run down. RV sites were OK.

Our Sewer access was above grade - made it hard to dump. With very little cell service, would be nice to have better WIFI. However - very scenic and quiet

Our camping club had a wonderful stay. The staff among other things arranged prefect high mountain weather for our weekend. We have enjoyed a stay here "Boone in June" as we call it for many years and hope it continues far into the future.

Weather was great! Cost was reasonable. Wi-Fi and tv were marginal. Sites were adequate but very un-level.

The area is beautiful and will come back but will NOT stay at the Boone KOA. The staff was rude, flies everywhere from the goats and donkeys, a strange gross smell all over the grounds, and dirty bathrooms with doors that don’t close and bugs crawling from the toilets. This was the worst KOA we’ve visited.

The location is convenient and the altitude and breeze were a blessing in June. Friendly staff, clean facilities, a peaceful place to spend the week while exploring Western NC

liked your KOA but the layout was very tight and the sites were not level also your adjacent site utility locations were awkwardly placed resulting in not very pleasant outdoor areas for most sites. Staff was very friendly and did a great job relocating us upon arrival after we could not level (tried for 45 minutes and I've been doing this for 30 years).

The road going to the campground entrance is terrible! The staff can’t control that I know but be aware there are lots of pot holes getting to the campground. We did not pick up any over air channels and there’s no cable. We ended up listening to the radio alot so it was still nice. We loved the shady site and the goats! The internet is very weak. Radar updates impossible during a storm.

The campgrounds themselves are nice however, you are packed together so close and so tight you can't even exhale without offending one of your neighbors with your onion and tomato cheeseburger breath.

Staff was excellent - very helpful and friendly. Sites were as advertised, some shade. Utilities worked well, except for wi-fi and phone connections - not really a KOA issue, but good to know before you go. Amenities were very nice, animals were fun to watch. Definitely worth the visit.

Host was very cordial and made us feel right at home. The grounds were clean and the hook-ups were right on point. The campers and their dogs were respectfully orderly.The place was very peaceful and we got a good quiet nights sleep. We will definitely return. Please ask the STATE TRANSPORTATION DEPT. to fix the road leading up to the KOA campgrounds. Good luck with that one.

Camp sites were unkept and unlevel, I will not be back to this KOA. I have been in and out of KOAs for the past 50 years; they used to be consistently clean and well kept, it is no longer the case.

Very clean ; staff is friendly ; pool and other amenities were closed at 6 pm which is way to early !! It was 80 and 90 degree temps we all would have been in the nice pool till at least 8 or 9 pm !!!!!!

Our stay was great. My only complaint is that we brought our pets and one of the campsites with a grassy area or even a concrete slab would have been better than the all rocky one that we received. Thankfully we had an outdoor rv rug.

Peaceful and full of huge trees to just set back and relax under. Nice size sites, most if not all pull-thru and graveled. Within 5 miles of downtown Boone.

We were there for only on quick overnight stay but the facility was very nice. Clean restrooms. The sites are a bit close together but overall it was very nice.

We have always enjoyed our stay at the Boone KOA. Some of sites are tight, but there are others that are fantastic...you just need to pick your favorites and book them. I will say that the place is long overdue for a refresh; specifically the putt putt and restrooms. If this was handled, the place would be five-star.

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
