Always a joy to pull into this KOA! We have been coming here for over 8 years. It is extremely kid friendly. Even though our child is grown up we continue coming and enjoy every visit. Highly recommend Boone, KOA to everyone!

Great campground! The reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is that it needs more bathrooms. There are 6 in the women's restroom at the main building and 2 coed near where the cabins are located. Would love this campground if they made the 2 coed bathrooms into at least another 6. Otherwise loved our stay!

This was our first time at the Boone KOA and it will definitely not be our last! Clean camping Cabin, bathrooms and showers! Staff was always super friendly and helpful! Peaceful little set up will beautiful Mountain View’s!! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Came to the campground with a church group. The group tent camped but my family had a cabin nearby. It was very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were all clean and well maintained as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very nice and peaceful campground.

This is my third or fourth time staying at this KOA and folks couldn’t be nicer. Everything is always well taken care of, grounds and cabins. I would offer one suggestion. I think $12 a night is too much for a pet fee. I would rather see a flat fee per stay, maybe something like $20 up to 3 nights, then a fee up to 7 nights. Hotels often do not have a pet fee

The campsites are very close together. The security vehicle should be labelled so individuals know who it is (even if a magnetic label). We were concerned seeing a vehicle go by slowly looking and stopping at campsites and watching them. We were uncertain who this was and it made us uncomfortable.

My family and I had a wonderful time at KOA Holiday in Boone,NC. When we arrived we had a “tentastrophy” while setting up our camp site. The staff was so nice and so accommodating to us. They transferred our reservation to the empty cabin next to us and made our trip even better. If you are looking for a safe, clean place to go camping with your family in Boone,NC this is the only place to go.

Was fortunate to be visiting for two great events: the peaking of the fall foliage colors and the campground's special family oriented Halloween activities. The campground staff are especially helpful and Boone is an excellent base for all manner of outdoor entertainment.

Only stayed for a stopover night. Closing up for winter season. The deck on Kabin and view of pond were great for fall. Seems for price of kabin can somehow upgrade card table and chairs and supply pack of coffee/tea. Or drop price to $70 a night and keep what is there. It just lacked “warmth” feel at a hotel rate. But thank you for the experience!

Loved it! Only comment is the microwave in Cabin 23 really didn't work. We tried for up to 5 minutes to heat up a cup of water and not much luck.

This is our 3rd year and our cabin was wonderful! I love this place. Only complaint was the bathroom n at cabin 9 on the left side wouldn’t lock. Everyone was using the other side. I forgot to mention that to y’all. Sorry.

The cabin had cobwebs on lights and corners. WiFi was slow . And verison didn't work there. But the trees was beutifull. And the people was kind. Things was spaced out good.

We booked their “best cabin” with a bathroom. You have to drive on some long dirt path off a side road just to get to the front office and these people are extremely rude. No hi or how was your stay.. nothing. Just rude. No smiles. Flashforward, get to the cabin and it’s ancient and smells like an old disgusting daycare. No linens, pillows or towels. Also bugs on beds, moldy ceiling and rot

We have been visiting the KOA in Boone for years and we have a wonderful trip every time! The grounds are well kept and the cabins and bath houses are clean. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Stay was good. Few things though would have helped to get it to 5star. Street light by cabins was super bright and felt like being at a parking lot instead of a cabin in the woods because it was so lit up. Part of what we love to do is a campfire at night. Had to turn backs away from light to sit out at night(blinding). Would come back if could pick cabin # so as to not get in bright light again

We came in on Friday and the campground was clean, our camping cabin was waiting on us. Staff was friendly and helpful, offer information in regards to routes and options available for getting around the area. We enjoyed our stay. We will come and visit again soon.

Perfect sized cabin! The deck with table and chairs added to the enjoyment! Great loop around the sites to walk my dog and she also enjoyed running in the designated dog gated area. The weather was spectacular, too!

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
