The staff were super nice and helpful & restrooms very clean. I must have had the "unicorn" site. WIFI was good enough for me to work from. I didn't stream, but when I called to ask about WIFI they did tell me that it wouldn't be sufficient for streaming. Besides, it was great to enjoy the outdoors and a book! Skoda enjoyed the dog park and I loved all the flowers and shrubs!

We arrived Saturday afternoon and left the following Saturday. No real activities for children during the week and they just told us where our campsite was located...did not show us to the site. It was clean. The pool water was cold. Need to have activities for children during the summer and not just on SATURDAYS. Staff provided auto repair shops as we had to get new break shoes on our truck.

Great views. Toilet block was often dirty not cleaned often enough. Only cleaned once a day. 2 sinks were out of order . The tile grout needs cleaning. Sites close together no privacy.

Excellent. Everything was great. Great view ,great music ,animal friendly . We enjoyed your place very much! Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of lightening bugs. Cows were friendly! Close to Boone. Mike's seafood was delicious! Country store was great! Goober Peas

WiFi was a joke - stated it wasn’t strong enough for streaming but it would not even load a webpage or the weather or even a map. The dump site had a cap on it that was very difficult to use. Super difficult drive to the site. Close - really close - sites and my neighbors were super loud until way after 11 pm and cooking breakfast before 8. No cell and no WiFi - dealbreaker!

Fun campground and Boone is a great place to visit. Friendly staff. Biggest problem is the lack of any reasonable LTE signal and bad Wifi :(. Not much you can do about that up in the mountains, but we did find AT&T at least worked enough for basic email etc. Verizon has nothing up there.

Pretty little campground at the top of the hill. Make sure to follow their directions for the correct streets. Wifi needs some work, but otherwise rest of the grounds were nice.

Boone KOA has been our favorite “second home” for years! We so enjoy the professionalism and personal touch of the staff, and the consistent improvements and care. This isn’t the most wiz-bang KOA, but has the heart of the very first KOA, and we always find our way back to Boone!

The staff was very sweet. Campground was clean mostly outdated need more things for the kids to do. Had to pay to play putt putt. Which is fine except for the greens on the courses were in bad shape, boards were rotted. The pool area concrete was chipping. I will probably not visit this KOA again Just because it is outdated and there is nothing for the kids to do.

Enjoyed our stay. My granddaughter enjoyed the playground, especially with lots of kids to play with. Too bad no organized activities. Beautiful landscaping (loved all the blooming shrubbery.). Bathrooms in excellent condition, but rec room and some other outside areas need updating and repairs.

The entire staff made are stay memorable, will do anything to make our stay better. Very accommodating. Bathrooms are very clean, store is well stocked. Temperature up in elevation was great. Wish we were still there. Thanks for all.

Wonderful staff. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean. The dump station was graded perfectly to drain tanks completely.

Kristina and staff were very accommodating and helpful. It is always a pleasurable stay and we never want to leave. Would love to see the mini golf updated as the greens are in need of repairs. However, we still enjoyed playing the course.

I liked the helpful staff. Our checkin was quick and easy. I thought the bathrooms were exceptionally clean (although a bit dated). Our site was slightly unlevel requiring leveling blocks. The sewer required two sections of sewer hose stretched to their limit and the sewer gave no down hill direction for emptying tanks. The grounds were clean. Good shade trees. Pull through "just" big enough.

My family had wonderful stay at Boone KOA. A well-kept campground located close to town. All staff was extremely friendly and generated a family atmosphere. My kids enjoyed meeting other kids to include the families of staff members and freely played until nightfall. We were all welcomed as if we had known one another for years.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Restroom and shower are nice and clean. The internet was very slow and did not allow me to work while I was there. But the friendly staff explained google fiber was on the way for our next stay. One suggestion is to tidy up the grounds such as the pile of picnic tables and some minor repairs are needed to the mini golf and that area in general.

Sites are super tight, so if you don’t have experience with your rig, definitely let them know or you won’t be able to get in and out easily.

Staff was very friendly! Grounds clean, Generally needs some updating & “love”.Mini golf in very poor condition/needs a lot of repair. Pool area could use some lounge chairs. Playground area was good, could use updated equipment. WiFi super slow, cell service minimal. Kids liked goats. We stayed at Wilmington NC last year & very impressed-Boone was disappointing

Management non supportive of aggressive dogs. They may be on a lead outside, but once good pull and it snaps, there will be serious problems. I too experienced the two dogs on the corner, who management failed to do anything about. Sites are too close and very unlevel. Location had poor cell and internet. Limited Uber, Lyft, or taxi service. Stay somewhere else.

Overall nice Camp! Only cons would be the internet not allowing for streaming but hey your camping I guess. LOL. Additional con is that the road getting up to the KOA (194 and Ray Brown) are pretty small and curvy but this is more of a warning for big RVs. Otherwise great Camp, clean and well kept. Also Boone Delivery is available if you don't want to cook :) Will definitely stay again!

I felt comfortable and safe in the campground. We enjoyed our stay very much. I especially enjoyed the duo playing music on Saturday evening.

I thought KOA had a higher standard (guess not) poorly maintained site paper trash on mine upon arrival, the sewer hookup was loose, gravel site not even close to level had my rear wheels off the ground on pads to get close to leveling my coach, nearby camper was working on an old pickup with a grinder, big dog barking at 7am just didn't seem like this KOA was anything special and worth returning

Disappointing. The RV sites were so crammed together that it was difficult to even park our vehicle. Zero privacy. Our neighbors were right next to our window. Vibe felt like a low tent trailer park. Not what I expected from KOA. Obvious that this business exists to profit the owners and not to provide enjoyment. Won’t be back unless we have no choice.

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
