Pretty campground close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Lots of trees for shade in summer. Only issue that some people care about and others don't is the Wi-fi could be better (faster). Had issues connecting to websites. Otherwise, a great campground. Lots of cabins to rent for those with no RV.

Gorgeous view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location if you want to be off the grid. Sites are very close together and tight. We had difficulty maneuvering to exit. There was no cell service, Internet or digital TV reception.

I had a great week as always in my previous 3 stays. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The campground is very pretty, especially this peak leaf time. It’s quiet at night and just 5-10 minutes from downtown Boone.

Very friendly staff. Nice easy access to site and area amenities. WiFi not great BUT I am in the WiFI business for parks and apartment complexes. You can not provide good service without a circuit provider. They will not currently run the circuit up the mountain. Until they do DSL is all you have. Not KOA's fault. BUT also I did have a friend test the T-Mobile Internet Gateway and it worked great!

We had a nice couple of days at the site. I recommend management periodically grade the camping trailer sites. I have a 17’ camper and my Uncle has a 28’ motor home, both of us had difficulty leveling. Mine is a manual method and his is auto leveler, he was unable to fully extend his levelers on the driver side because the grade was higher than the right side.

All but a few sites are very close together. This time we were in E1 and liked it. Just have to know the sites. We also rented a cabin for our daughter. It was exceptional. Very clean and well maintained (unlike Cherokee KOA). The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Very good stay with you guys. Easy sites to get in and out. Really nice concrete/gravel with fire pits and table. Quiet. No experience with loud folks or music and campground was full. Close to Boone and other area attractions. Will be back.

Facilities were clean but dated. Sites were too close together and very unlevel. Dryers in laundry took forever to dry. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Worst KOA I've ever visited. RV sites very close together. Lot of rocky and uneven walkways. Not a campground for elderly people with handicaps. I nearly fell just try to plug my motorhome in. Booked for two nights but only stayed for one.

I love this place. We had some very cool nights while our older family members were visiting and we asked if we could use the game/recreational room to eat in after we had cooked our meals outside. Our family stayed warm and enjoyed the time together. Very much a blessing to be able to do so. The grounds and the bathroom/showers are clean and well maintained.

The campsite is located very conveniently to everything in Boone. It was also clean. The sites are VERY narrow and you are very close to your neighbors. The sites are also sloped and you will need leveling blocks. There is internet but it is so weak that it is basically barely usable. The freshwater water pressure was also low. I would stay here only for the location.

Row D spots are a little small, but had all the hookups and was relatively easy to get leveled. We went to Grandfather Mountain, the Winery, Boone and Blowing Rock while we were there. The icing on the cake is that our grandkids were there on one of the huge patio sites.

Great stay at Boone KOA, sorry that it is likely our last for the 2022 camping season. Looking forward to returning next Spring. Wish the Boone KOA family the best along with a save winter. see you soon

Very friendly reception, spot B6 too small as a pull thru so we were able to upgrade to C7 with a simple phone call to the office. One of the nicest KOA's and in general, one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. The bathrooms were nice and showers were great (Very important to us). We will be back next year as we take this business trip every year.

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
