As always..staff/owners very professional and friendly. Relaxing place. Would recommend upgrading cabin goam mattresses as my back felt the wood bed cross slats every night Wonderfull place to visit. Near boone.

Nice enough campground. Sites are very small and very little room to park, usually blocking the road partially. Can be a nightmare getting in and out of sites because of parked vehicles. I left a day early because enough vehicles went out for the day leaving me room to exit. I didn't want to get boxed in the next morning. I didn't use any of the facilities so I can't comment on those.

We love it and come every summer. We love the corn hole, the goats, the books and puzzles, but especially the ping pong. Thanks for a great few days of relaxation in a beautiful location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Boone KOA. Beautiful location... clean and flat sites... clean and nice bathrooms... nice location for access to Boone and to Elk Knob State Park's trails. As others have said, the sites are on the small side but they are on the side of a hill which helps with visibility and there is no cable but TV is not the reason we head out on vacation.

The campground is so clean and well maintained. We played golf, ping pong and another yard game. It has so much to do. The office staff was so nice and helpful. We stayed in the camping cabin and it was perfect.

We had eight men that had three kids next to our tent site. They had five tents and stayed up cussing and drinking and playing cards until midnight. If there were security that would encourage fewer number of people per side that would help. As well as enforce a quiet time after 11 PM. But the campground itself was nice.

Our only hope is that a thicker, memory foam type mattress will be considered as replacements when the current foam pads wear out. It’s hard to sleep or get comfortable on a bed that feels like you’re lying on a board with no support after a long drive or a full day of activity. We wanted to stay longer but tossing and turning all night prevented us. We did have a good time during the day.

Small quiet campground with friendly staff. Various activities including live music on Saturday evening. Small camp store with reasonably priced items. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful place, especially at this time of year, but really anytime. It is operated and maintained meticulously and everyone involved goes the extra mile to make certain your stay is both restful and rewarding.

Such a quiet and peaceful campground just minutes away from downtown Boone! We stayed here while we moved our daughter into App State and it was so easy to get to. Shout out to our amazing hosts who were so kind in allowing us to check out later than normal since we were still in the process of the move. I'd highly recommend this KOA and we can't wait to come and visit again!

We love this campground/our 2nd yr staying there. This year we rented the park model (blue) - gave us a lot of space. Everything worked even though it was older. screendoor was not opening/closing & husband fixed it. linens and towels were provided and clean. The porch was very dusty and had cobwebs. We had plenty of hot water and water pressure was great Super great staff!!

We enjoyed our stay. When we arrived the sewer connection needed attention and someone was sent immediately to fix it. The only complaint was having to walk to the campground entrance to take our garbage. We usually see containers throughout the campground.

This is a good park. It's an old park but is kept clean. Hookups worked well. Didn't use he showers or laundry facilities. Staff was nice and helpful. My main problem was connectivity. We had no cell signal and the park wifi was weak and down more than up.

Lovely setting..the pasture and cows and goats are a peaceful sight. Very clean restrooms....plenty of fun activities for children. The camp sites are uneven .... hard to level up......not much space between sites... KOA Boone NC is verrrrry clean and has everything a camper needs. Thank you.

It will be better when there is Modern WiFi. Also, neither of the bathrooms in the lower area had functional locks on the doors. Several very embarrassing moments. Would be nice if the picnic tables were not stored in a place that destroyed a very nice view. All this aside we will return. Just hope these things are fixed.

Everyone was so kind and there were so many fun things to do with our small children (they absolutely loved feeding the goats). The campground was beautiful and accommodating. We definitely plan to come back.

Never again, it was like a low end trailer park! Narrow and unlevel sites, hard to get into and right on top of each other. Our site was so narrow that I could not access my lower compartments with the slides out.

Great location. Very friendly staff and fellow campers. Clean showers and bathrooms. Pool, playground, mini golf course, and even goats to feed. Only thing that was tough was not a good WiFi signal unless I went into town. But I didn't expect that in the mountains!

No cable, no over the air channels, Wi-Fi was terrible. Verizon coverage poor. Sites small, tight and unlevel.

Campground facilities good but adjacent campsite, which had been occupied for several days, was very trashy. Also, occupants had dumped contents of their firepit onto our site. We have stayed at dozens of KOAs over five years and have never before seen a KOA campsite in such a condition.

Site level was terrible. You advertised wifi available on line, once you get there you are told up front the wifi is to slow to stream anything, service was so bad my hotspot or my personal cell internet would not function. I had some important business emails I planned to send out once I stopped at your location, which clearly was impossible. You need to install a server on the property!

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
