This was only a 1 night stay for us, but we loved it. Saw the Blue Angels fly over, and an Eagle catching fish from the Yellowstone River. If we were back that way, I would stay here again. However, it would be hard to beat Great Falls!

Enjoyed our stay. Very kid friendly KOA. Lots to do on-site. Quiet, clean, and they had very friendly staff. We would stay again!!

A beautiful facility—We were disappointed though. We reserved a full hookup, but when we pulled in—no septic hookup. I asked desk folks about it and was told “all booked up—no spaces”. No effort made to make some moves. At same time, advised the dump station was broken. During our stay, we saw open spaces with dump, then saw them filled with small trailers not needing a dump connection.

asked for site long enough to avoid unhooking towed vehicle. Not furnished. Put is too short end site with rigs passing within inches of ours. and then there was the gunfire, within yards of our rig and even closer to children playing. We stay at a lot of KOA campgrounds, but probably won't be back to this one.

attention to detail was not what it was frour years ago but you're still a formidable force in the company...though... the second unit ever built, at Rapid City, has you beat and have set a standard you need to strive for...I know you can do it...go get'em!

My reservation, that I made on 2 Jan for a stay 8 months later, was totally messed up. I requested and paid for a Full Hook Up Pull Through ended up being a back in. I requested to be next to my brother and of course that could not happen. The folks at the KOA tried to straighten this out. What a screwup.

We have been coming up from Powell and staying at the KOA for the last couple of years. But this time we came up and it just was not the same, I don't know if it's the new ownership or not enough help, but the bathrooms did not seem to be very clean and smelled of urine really bad. We noticed the grass was all dead but maybe there is limited water in Billings I'm not sure. Mini golf was a joke!!

The facility was very clean and quiet at night. We loved the private, clean shower rooms with never a wait. My only request is that you provide aluminum recycling. Thanks!

2 night stay - passing through. This is the original KOA #1, Very helpful staff. Amazing amenities. Sites very close together. We had a sewer hose from the site next door about 3 feet from our picnic table. The putt-putt, pool, dog park, and many other amenities are very popular. Paved roads, graveled sites. Nightly ice cream service really nice. Despite positives, still felt very pricey.

The only reason I’m giving the campground a 4 is because of the cost. Our stay, in a very small camper with no pullouts or pets was $30 more per night than last year. We have been coming to the Billings Koa for 15 years and this is the first year we are a little worried it’s gone a bit down hill! I’m not sure what’s happening to the grass but no green grass is left :( also my kids love staying up late to swim and golf and everything shuts down early! Where as in the past the pool and golf were available till 11! For the price you pay it makes us sad!

The good. The facilities are new and updated. The bad, The layout and roads are the worst I have seen, multiple acute turns, pull through space too short, no way to loop back in the campground, you have to leave the park and come back to turn around. Not well suited to anything over 25 ft. To much emphasis on pretty landscaping over practical turns. Big rocks on tight turns are a hazard.

Ninety Five dollars US, $95 per night for a slightly Uneven, unpaved pad. Dump station INOP but staff helped to get a site to use at departure. Pool nice, mini golf very fun. Ice cream superb.

Dead brown grass. No septic dump. Filthy bathrooms, especially the floors. We stay in Billings several times in the summer for many years. Last weekend was very disappointing. We hope it gets better so we don’t have to stay down the road.

You sure pack them in tight! Lots of amenities. Bathrooms and showers sparkling clean. Well kept grounds. But: Very pricey. Hot tub out of commission. Dump station also out.

everything was good!!! i would recomend not putting a 41 ft fifth wheel in camp site #5 Way too small.... especially when exiting

Very clean. Liked the texts with daily news about coffee and ice cream. The Wi-Fi could be improved. Although we didnt go to watch tv, we did try to stream a show before bed and there wasn't enough bandwidth.

The park did not seem to be in as good 0f condition as years past. The RV sites looked like they had not been watered in some time. The grass was brown and dead looking. The only thing green was the dog park. Maybe need to look at priorities for watering. Also would like to see an option for the resort fees for those of us who do not use them. A daily fee with wrist band.

We were on a cross country trip and needed a place to stay between Yellowstone and Theodore Roosevelt National Parks. We only planned an overnight stay. Wished we would have planned to stay longer. Very clean campground with a lot of things to do. Our only regret was being close to the dog park. The dogs were not the problem, The stadium lights that remained on long after dark were.

This is a difficult place to rate. It all depends on what you are looking for. The amenities makes up for the short comings. Honestly, the only complaint I have is the sites being very close together. The other issues were of my own fault when booking. My pull thru site didn't have sewage (it was advertised as such). The park was super busy and is definitely geared for families.

Had a great time. Loved our spot by the Yellowstone River. Loved our walk by the river, our swim in the pool, mini golf and the best ice cream . Stayed two nights. Wish it was more. Loved the Number 1 KOA !

It was a very busy KOA. The spaces were a little tight and I think maybe some of the RVs were placed in spaces that were too small for the size of the RVs. They weee full most of the nights we were there because of the air show and the fair. It might not be so hectic on a none event time.

Camping here at the 1st KOA in the world in 1962. Passing thru for one night. Nice park as most KOAs are. It's next to Yellowstone River. They have playground, mini golf, pool, laundry, nice showers & restroom. Sites seem pretty level. Not all sites have a grill.

Very welcoming. It seems like people actually enjoy their job. The sites have a picnic table, fire pit and a swing. East in and out for bigger rigs. I would come back.

The Billings KOA was great. Extremely clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If your in the Billings, MT area I highly recommend you stay with them.
