very helpful staff...a couple people talked about how terrible it smelled after they sprayed (really over done) weed killer in the drive ways, edgings and some areas of your "yard"

The campground is nice. The owners were friendly and loved the raspberries planted around the pool for picking. The only reason we rates a three star is pool area was disappointing and they have just relined an old pool. Filtration system was iffy. Chose not to swim due to cleanliness was questionable for us.
Jul 18, 2017
The most unfrendly. People i ever met in any koa campground i will never stop there again.
Jul 18, 2017
It's a nice campground. I would rather have had Wi-Fi at my site.
Jul 17, 2017
I have to say we were disappointed and we won't head east in Mt. again to camp. The sites were too close together and cottonwood was ridiculous, I'm allergic. Not nice area to be sitting out either. LOVED the trains, that was a plus. Won't stay here again, sorry!
Jul 16, 2017
Nice people and good size spaces, just wish they had cable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you. We also wish we had cable.

Fantastic!

Average Journey location.
Jul 14, 2017
Nice and shady. Pool was nice. RV spaces were on the smaller side for RV's with slides.

Really enjoyed Amy's knowledge of the area

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Please come and see us again.

Nice quiet campground. Cabin was clean and comfortable. We were unable to use the deck or pool/hot tub due to rain. The biggest drawback for us was no options for food in the immediate area. We did find a couple of places in Big Timber, 9 miles west.

It is so easy to be friendly to people like you

it was a one night stop over so it was what we needed. BUT the bugs were in abundance. we were told there was a fire pit and there wasnt. The cabin sights are like right on top of each other. No one enforced the quiet time or the no fireworks. AND best of all....the train running by every couple of hours blasting its horn through the night.
Jul 12, 2017
Trains go by every hour blasting there horns all night right next to the campground, could not get any sleep, KOA its self was great!
Jul 12, 2017
Second visit. Always curious and helpful
Jul 11, 2017
Amy was a great hostess and the facilities were very clean.
Jul 11, 2017
One of the staff of many took time to talk to us. The others although they seemed to be standing around, didn't seem to have time to talk or even smile. Thankfully the one woman in the office mad it better. Sites were nice, with all KOAs that dont have cable, it would be nice to have internet bandwidth to stream but most are too slow. I would stay here again but they could make things better.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. We will try to do better
Jul 10, 2017
Perfectly placed where we needed it, when we needed it. NOTE: GoodSam trvl plnr routing directions are 30 mi wrong. Use KOA directions.
Jul 10, 2017
Living up to the standards of KOA.
Jul 10, 2017
Everything was good except no sewer sites left. Our site was wonderful! Large site, shady and grassy. Amy was very sweet and helpful! We will definitely stay there again if we are back this way.

45 ft coach and we were put under & in between huge dead willow trees. Large branches kept falling on our Pets and on our tow vehicle. I was hit by a good size branch! Then one of the willow tree trunks feel over onto our full length slide!! We found a local arborist who was kind enough to come & cut the tree from our Newmar Coach!! WE PAID THE BILL. KOA DID NOTHING! SAD!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As you know what you are telling people is not true. The tree was very much alive but high winds came through. Lots of damage in other areas. Not just here. I have been working with insurance. You stated that there was no damage just before you left. Please be honest. I gave you may insurance name and number and you refused to give me yours. Still working with mine.

Helpful happy and an enjoyable stay
Jul 09, 2017
Nice pool and bounce pad. Trains are loud. No cable or tv reception. Wifi to weak to work.
Jul 09, 2017
Not much there
Jul 09, 2017
Very nice , love the trees and the staff was very helpful
Jul 09, 2017
Facility is nice. Staff is friendly. Noise from interstate and frequent trains makes for a disjointed nights sleep.
Jul 08, 2017
Very lovely campground with many mature Cottonwood and Willow trees. We had a very restful stay here. The staff is very attentive. They go out of their way to help campers and really care about them. Toni, Carol and the rest of the staff did an outstanding job.
Jul 08, 2017
Ok for overnight - did not use facilities. As mentioned, not their fault that Train woke us up. Also not their fault that other campers have no idea of campind etiquette - walking thru out site as we're sitting there.
Jul 07, 2017
Lots of Trees, very clean!
Jul 07, 2017
Carol, the manager, did me a great favor by allowing me to check in early and my site was shady, large, and very comfortable. WiFi was adequate, and the property is well kept. One suggestion would be a standard hose at the dump station for black tank flushing.
Jul 07, 2017
Right next to the interstate and the railroad. Noisy!
Jul 07, 2017
Best KOA in the system.Amy, Toni and Payton were great.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

THANK YOU!!!
Jul 06, 2017
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in Big Timber. The town is close enough to Yellowstone NP for a one day tour, and Livingston,MO 30 minutes from there is a very unique town. MUST visit the bakery downtown in Big Timber!! Best cinnamon rolls like your grandma use to bake! Would not hesitate to return!
Jul 06, 2017
The website fails to mention the campground is right beside the interstate and busy railway both of which are very noisy. The website also mentions a hot tub. I was told it wasn't working but there wasn't one on the property. Lastly, the cost of firewood should be included in the cost of a site rental.
Jul 06, 2017
Very friendly staff. The kids loved the bounce thing and the pool. Playground is outdated but the kids had a good time. Big rv sites lots of grass. Laundry was cheap to wash so I got caught up. Only downside is check out is 10am and the bounce thing, and pool don't open until 11am. It would have been nice to take the kids to play and burn off energy while someone was getting the RV ready to go.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our Jummping pillow opens at 8:30. And we are on a new check out time this summer of 11:00. Hope the staff is remembering to tell people. Hope to see you again. and Thank You

My family has been coming here for my entire life. This has always been a desirable destination for us. It was far more attractive when the water slides were open. We have had bad experiences and good with campground. The consistancies are that the bathrooms are closed for cleaning for 2.5 hour each day? Not terrible but it seems like a long time to clean the bathrooms. owner manager is grump

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

So sorry that you thought I was a grump. Really I'm not. Just think that is how I look.
Jul 06, 2017
Not a bad KOA at all, just not as updat d as others. The people at the office were super nice, and they do a great job with keeping up the toddler play area. No pool though, and it was hot.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you so much for your feed back. We do have a pool.
Jul 05, 2017
A real great experience. All staff super friendly & helpful. Our site was exactly what we reserved. Showers were clean & lots of hot water!! Next time we are out this way we will stay longer.
Jul 05, 2017
Old park needs to be updated

Jul 05, 2017
Bathrooms were disgusting.
Jul 04, 2017
Kinda loud, but very convenient. And the spots were very nice.
Jul 04, 2017
your website does not tell you about the interstate traffic noise all night nor the trains honking all night and day until you get to the front office where it is posted on their white board. playground great for kids and pool needs the depth repainted so you know where it drops off for kids. office help kind of grumpy. build a wooden fence to try to block out some of the interstate noise
Jul 03, 2017
Campground was very nice. Showers were great. Train and traffic noise but pretty quiet at night
Jul 03, 2017
very attentive staff. when there very quiet and peaceful...also loved all the trees
Jul 03, 2017
First, I emailed ahead of time to let them know of my late arrival so they wouldn't give my spot away. When we arrived, our spot was taken. It took almost an hour to reach the owner as the cell phone service was horrible. The internet would not work at all, despite entering the password advertised. Everything closed down so early at 8 it stays light till almost 10ish...worst experience ever
