Sites are really tight to get into. Not terribly level. Have a long rig and we BARELY fit. Had to park truck in a less than wonderful way. Pretty place, though. Been here before and will come back again.

Super nice park and staff! Having the Benbow Inn 5 minutes away is a big plus. Monitor the tent site more closely as it looked like a homeless camp when we stayed there. Only negative experience while overnighting here.

We've always loved staying at the KOA in Benbow. This, however, was unfortunately our worst stay. There was a group there from the local festival, and some of the members were pretty offensive. They were wearing next to nothing at the pool, changing out in the open at their campsites. At the pool, they were playing loud music, and using inappropriate language.

Lovely premium site. Clean campground. Large mature trees. Level sites. Staff was very accommodating. Supported us with every request we had. Never a no. Fire pit at site 78 was too deep. Could not enjoy a fire. Campground roads could use resurfacing. Many ruts and potholes. Improvements could include light food service for purchase. Weekends? Portable food vendors? Use Friendship or Village Hall.

Great camp! Incredible staff, particularly JORDIN!!! She was exceptionally helpful to us. She went WAY beyond expectations in assisting us get the right site for our needs.

Great staff and improved grounds. Recent changes are working. Very disappointed in golf course pricing. The course has improved but not worthy of that price for a cart and 9 holes

We just pulled in because we were too tired to drive further. I called ahead and the lady was super nice. Very welcoming. Very nice park! Everything was top notch!

Nice facility. Lots to do. We just stayed overnight on our way to Oregon. Sites are quite close together. We could just manage with a 38’ RV and dinghy. One negative- terrible WiFi.

Just a short stop on our way home from Oregon to Grass Valley. Very nice, clean campground and facilities, well taken care of.

Love the pet walk through the trees and being so close to the coast and the town of Benbow. The staff was always helpful and nice. The laundry room is in the Rec room which was annoying from kids running around and a woman having a zoom meeting.

Benbow KOA is right off the highway. So it can be noisy. But we liked it, staff was friendly, campground & facilities were clean & well kept. Only downside was the sites were rather short. We have a 40’ RV & we’re in one of their longer sites. With the coach pulled all the way to the very front of the site, we could just fit our car behind if we parked perpendicular to the coach.

Passing through and needed a place to spend the night. The staff was great, very helpful. One of our group forgot there 30 amp cord and the office people checked lost and found and the maintenance staff to see if they could find one to loan them. Great service. The grounds were well maintained and clean.

Excellent stay. Bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. Good spacing, really enjoyed our stay. Only concern was the wi-fi was almost not useable. Too far from office and no boosting apparently.

Wonderfully surprised at how lovely the park was. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the walk down by the river and a visit to the Benbow Inn is a must!

Everything was generally excellent, except for the dog park. It was set up and equipped ok, but is much too small, especially in comparison to other KOAs. The golf course should be smaller and the dog park bigger.

This place is the perfection you expect from a KOA!! Well maintained and kept. The pool was clean and warm. They have the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen at a campground. Super friendly staff, the kids loved having (complimentary)craft time with Chloe. The only downfall is that every site doesn't have a fire pit, however we were allowed to bring our own and they even had a hot ash garbage to dump i

Rented a prime space and the lawn at the sewer sight was swamped so bad I sunk 3-4 inches while trying to hook up my electrical and sewer up. Not why I paid the too high already price for a premium sight. If there was another KOA this close to my home town I would go their.

Beautiful area. Campsites a bit too close together. Grounds we’re clean. Bathrooms/showers could have been cleaner and there was an unpleasant smell of mildew. All staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
