Very well maintained campground. The employees were super friendly. Only down side is the amount of stray cats wondering around and kittens living in the bushes.

We go to Oregon every year and we try to stay at Benbow KOA. It’s always a great stopping place and the staff is always very friendly and informative.

Beautiful campground. Lots of freeway noise though, so hard to enjoy the outdoor space. Staff were awesome…put us in a 30-AMP spot by mistake, but allowed us to move to a premium spot at no extra charge the next day.

The KOA at Benbow was very nice. Expensive, but nice. We only stopped for an overnight stay and have been by many times. We wanted to try it and see. For the money the facilities were sub par. A nice flat, level pull through with a picnic table and full hook-ups for near a hundred dollars. We will not pay that again. The price difference to the smaller, shorter sites was not that great. Too much $

It is my new favorite KOA. The host family is very friendly. The grounds are clean and enjoyable. We will be back.

They have people living full time at the campground. The trailers and cabins are cluttered with junk and very run down.

The campsite is a very expensive campground. For the high price we expected a little more enjoyable grounds not dead grass and dusty sites.

Thank you for visiting! We have had a few years of not enough rain, leading us to cut back on our irrigation to help support the health of the Eel River. We were so happy to see that there was water in the East Branch through the entire summer! Last year it completed dried. We hope you can return.

We are working to improve our WiFi conditions, the big trees can make the signal transmission tough! We love our big tall Redwoods though, and hope you can visit again!

I've been here several times, and this was another great stay at this beautiful RV park. My premium site, (worth the extra $) has a large green grass area with roses in full bloom. The landscaping crew does a outstanding job. Recent infrastructure improvements include many new power pedestals. The new cable TV connection greatly improved reception. Still needed...modern internet. I'll return.

Great staff and decent sites. Cell service is almost non-existent and wifi barely works so I took my iPad to the office to download a movie. We enjoyed our 2 days there.

The area is beautiful but we really thought we would have some tree coverage at the site. There are newer trees but not many mature trees. We drove to the nearby Ave of Giants to get our nature fix. The women working the desk were very friendly and helpful. The spaces are decent sized.

we were traveling home and needed a one night stay close to 101. This RV campground was fantastic - well laid out, quiet, pull-thrus and nice,subdued lighting. I really did love the facility and think I will put it onto my preferred stops. I wanted to use the laundromat but didn't need to at that time. Wonderfully clean! thanks - oh, yes, golf was tempting too.

Very helpful and kind staff. All RV sites are clean and well laid out. Restroom is clean, shower with hot water strong pressure. They told us the Wi-Fi strong at office/pool area and slower past that location (true). If you like golf they have a small course. Be sure to walk over to Benbow Inn, lovely place and good bar menu for a drink and eats. We recommend this KOA for a stop.

C/G clean. Laundry room dryers need to have improved venting to enable better drying. Most loads took 2 hrs. $4 to dry completely.

Awful showers (black mold), pool was nice but don't expect much with the so called splash park. The golf course (if you can call it that) was suppose to be $10 but then you add a cart because you will need it and its closer to $50 on a course that is terrible. Be prepared for very bad cell phone service and internet also. And when you ask them about anything they will say yes we know and that's it

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
