The nicest, cleanest and friendliest KOA we have ever stayed at! The staff and grounds are amazing. Would definitely recommend and return whenever possible.

It was a very short stay and I was there only in the dark, but the staff was very friendly and the park was very nice. I will be traveling this corridor quite often in the next year and now have this park as a destination for my return trip from Oregon to Scotts Valley.

Truck broke down day before they charged me because of 48 hour policy half day late so $61 plus new truck. Thanks for nothing.

The camp grounds were decently clean. My wife and I were really unhappy with the fact that the hot tub was unavailable, the main reason why we go to this KOA in the winter. If I would have been told in advance of my arrival that the hot tub was closed, I would have cancelled my stay and went elsewhere. $75 a night is really high for electricity, water, and sewage dump in of itself.

Poor to non-existent internet. No excuse for this with today's technology. Great price for a KOA. Great staff.

Put into a site with low tree branches which would damage roof and slide. Complained. Told to move to ANY site. Moved to another site and hooked up. Went back to office to see if patio site more as happy to pay and told we had to move bc reserved. Never told any were reserved when told to select ANY site. Moved again in the dark. We were exhausted from the drive and the incompetence .

The office staff is friendly and the sites were nice. It is right off Highway101, so it is easy to find and get to. You will hear some traffic noise at night though. No biggie for us. Thanks for a nice stay

Nice store and game room. Wood fireplace in game room was cozy since our stay was raining and cold. Campground was quiet but maybe due to weather and time of year. Brochure says to separate trash because they recycle but employee told us they really don’t and to put everything in trash. RV pads are extremely narrow so we were constantly walking in mud.

Everything was great except for No Handicap showers. Need to upgrade your showers with seats and removable shower heads.

Our pull-thru spot was very nice especially being near the river. The accommodations met our needs for our brief stay. We definitely would recommend this KOA to our family and friends.

Ice cold bathrooms ! Wifi you have to pay extra for, a ton of full time guests that have a lot of garbage piled up ! Zero activities !! This is not a good koa. We will not stay here again.

Nice being jn the redwoods. I arrived an hour before check-in and would have been charged an extra $10. Hot there at noon and check-in was 1. For an RV site, I thought the extra charge was ridiculous. Ww went and had lunch and returned an hour later.

Staff was friendly and efficient. WiFi was terrible. Heard that the owners are selling and not putting money or effort into maintenance and upkeep. Location is convenient.

Nice people in office. Decent location. Bathroom tile makes it look dirty and gross but think it’s just the tile colors. Seemed clean to me.

Our club was to use the Village Hall for 4 days. We had 26 people and a caterer coming. NO HEAT in the hall!!! Sick was backed up with water in it!!! We even went and bought some fuses with our own money. ( Jeremy even paid our member back, because the office won’t ok it)!!!

Need to make the golf course playable. The Wi-Fi is greatly improved from our previous visits.Need to fix oven in large community room. Like the new card for the bathrooms , which were very clean.

We were with the Eureka Elks group. The campground was clean and check in was a breeze and the person helping was very knowledgeable about getting us the right discount. The Cable TV had great reception and plenty of channels to choose from. WiFi was poor and another booster for the campground should be a consideration!

I will start with the staff who are Outstanding and went out of their way to make every effort towards making my stay enjoyable, which is hard to do with broken non-working equipment like the Pool and Hot Tub were not open/working. Long drives need Hot Tub relaxing. Also cable TV sys has very poor reception so watching the World Series was difficult. I do hope the new owners fix things correctly

Staff is friendly, and the grounds were ok... This is rated as a holiday, the jets on the hot tub are not working and the pool and the hot tub were dirty, the grounds could use more gravel. Too many puddles in the pull thru sites. They seem to only cater to golfers. Benbow Inn great place within walking distance.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
