Benbow KOA is located in Garberville, California: 200 miles north of San Francisco; 70 miles south of Eureka. Take Exit #636 from Scenic HWY 101 Benbow Exit.
Traveling South: turn left onto Benbow Drive Exit 636 and follow the signs to RV Park and Golf Course.

Workcampers are an important source of labor for many campgrounds and RV resorts around the U.S.A. Benbow KOA searches out couples who can support the increased volume of vacation travelers during the summer season.
As workcampers, Don and Ann Poyas came from their Gulf Coast Texas jobs to join the Benbow KOA team. Don is a computer wizard experienced in the KOA computer operations who has helped to update and streamline the Benbow online reservation system. Don is masterful at Front Desk procedures and is always lending a helping hand to guest with RV questions. Having owned and operated hospitality businesses with husband Don, Ann loves working the Front Desk, training staff on KOA procedures, taking reservations, and providing guests with the best possible resort experience. Ann says with a grin, “The busier it is, the better I like it, and she adds, “…my job is to make every guest feel important.” Don touts his ability to tackle challenges and stay mentally engaged as the reason he continues to work as a workcamper. Both Ann and Don love working in unique locations that give them the opportunity to explore and enjoy the treasures this Country has to offer.
