Even though check in was busy….the folks behind the desk were so pleasant and informative to deal with!! Answered every question I had, provided helpful information that really helped this Florida girl out!! Great place!

Very convenient, right off Interstate 90 about 1/2 mile. But still very quite. Stayed here a few years ago also.

The location was beautiful, however, the bathrooms could use some updating. Also, there was a tornado warning shortly after we arrived and the suggested shelter did not seem safe at all. On the flip side, the hosts were very nice and as helpful as they could be. We were happy to have a place to park and rest on our way home.

This has to be the BEST KOA I have ever stayed in. Very quiet. RV Sites were spaced out nicely. Not "Crammed" together like other KOAs Very Nice people at Check in.

Wonderful friendly hosts. Beautiful grounds lakeside. Our dogs enjoyed the grassy areas and dog park. This was our third time staying here and we will be back next time in area! Thank you, KOA Belvedere for a great stay.

Great spot near the interstate. Very clean and staff are super friendly. They have a kitchen with several food options that they will deliver to your site. We were just traveling through but would definitely stay multiple nights.

We were totally satisfied with our stay. Robert and his staff provide the most superior customer service we have ever experienced at a KOA. EVERYONE was amazing. The campsite was beautiful, welcoming, and exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Robert and staff for a wonderful time at your KOA. These folks are really working on making this facility first class. Unfortunately, we were there during and after a storm which made the roads a mess. Nevertheless, they were grading them the next morning. Service was friendly and efficient, plus the “delivered pizza to your campsite” was just what we needed after a long day on the road!

We really like it there, it quite for being so close to the interstate and it’s clean and the staff is great. The food is great too and the store has what you want and priced right. It’s halfway between our home in Wisconsin and yellowstone so it’s perfect.

2nd stay here- friendliest staff ever. Got in right as office/store closing - asked if we needed anything to eat as kitchen was closing - it was already past their hours! Then we set up and found I needed something from store. Walked over to see closed sign��. Owners saw me & asked if they could help. Lisa, owner, went into her home & gave me what I needed. She would not take any payment! Awesom

I only stayed one night but would love to stay longer if I'm ever in the area again. Very spacious sites. Very well landscaped. Off the highway enough that there was no road noise. Ordered a pizza and it was delicious. Friendly staff. Loved it here.

Way overpriced for the conditions. Rough dusty road,very poor cable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our tech-savvy crew would have happily assisted you while you were on-site and helped with troubleshooting the problem with getting cable reception in your RV. Always remember to turn off your Antenna booster & do a channel rescan at each camping location.

Of the five or so KOA's along western South Dakota along I-90 this is your best choice especially if you are car/tent camping. Many of the campgrounds along I- 90 here are not much more than parking lots for RV's. We found this KOA superior in many ways. This WAS supposed to be our stop for the gateway to the Black Hills. Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight a 100 miles eastward. So we visited in the early morning before anyone was awake. It was mostly empty as we were in the very early part of the season but it was evident we had missed out on a great campground. We visited May 2023.

What a great overnight stay. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They also serve dinner delivered to the RV...my wife is STILL raving about the spaghetti. 1880 Old Town in just down the road and well worth a visit.
