Rainy and dreary day but the employees went out of their way to help us stay as dry as possible. From telling us to not come outside to sign for our food, that he would bring the slip to me to taking the trash to the dumpster for us even though we were on the way to the laundry room and were just gonna drop it ourselves. Lovely people, nice quiet and relatively clean facility!

Camp sites had MUCH more space than other KOAs in the area. Dog park was great!

On a little lake. Nice dog areas. Ordered food from the kitchen--it was delivered to our site and so delicious! Highly recommend this campground.

This campground is a must stay if you are looking for a place around Sturgis, SD. Very neat and has a full kitchen with delivery service. The menu is outstanding. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The staff was very friendly and they escorted you to your site. Nice well maintained campground with no highway noise. Level pull thru concrete pad. The onsite kitchen made really good meals and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Would recommend for a nice stay. Close to 1880 Town and Pioneer Car Museum. 42 ft.Motorhome towing 24 ft trailer.

This campground rocked, fantastic service, very friendly, huge lot to stay in, great water pressure. Staff went above and beyond, plus food cooked there was great plus they delivered it to the site. Will stay there again when in area

One of the nicest and well equipped KOA’s we’ve visited. One caveat: THEY HAVE FOUR SPEED BUMPS at entry, recommend taking them at 2MPH to avoid damage to your rig.

Located right off the highway. The campground is well groomed, and organized. Lots of pull through spots. Very quiet. Nice playground for the kids, and also a Game Center for the older ones. Great place to stay.

Stayed for 7 nights. Great sites with plenty of space in between. Laundry room for bulky bed items was nice. Great food service. Hated all the flys though. Just that time of year!

I stayed here back in 2019 and was unimpressed. I was very happy this time and didn't even recognize it until I looked back on some records.

The staff was very friendly and our check-in process was quick and easy. The campground is basic, but the sites were nice and level with some shade. My wife especially enjoyed shopping in the camp store, which had a lot of nice items available. The location is ideal if you plan to visit the 1880’s Town which is just down the road.

Very pretty campground. Lots of grass. Trees. Sites have space between. Escorted to your site. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Also great eats made on premises if you don’t want to cook and delivered to your door! Will stay again.

Stay as far away from this location as possible. We were booked here for 2 nights and after spending a short time outside we were forced inside because of the flies. They were so bad that the empty picnic table was covered with them . We did speak to staff at the office and they said it is always bad and they do have vendors ask to spray/control the flies but it is too costly. A miserable stay

Sorry for your disappointment. I have tried reaching out to you directly. As we have no problem trying to use natural attractants for flies throughout the campground. Due to extreme weather conditions we are seeing more this year and would have addressed this if told during your stay.

Nice level lot. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Close to interstate but not noisy. We had the �. Gluten free crust available. The food and service was excellent!

The staff was friendly and the sites were spacious. We were welcomed and shown to our site and pizza was delivered to our site. The only negative was the fly population. Not the fault of the KOA just the location in the middle of farmland.

The place is sort of middle-of-nowhere, but the owners/operators have done a great job of filling in some voids. Great personal interaction, level and roomy sites, utilities fine, access/egress easy, and even tasty food cooked to order. We stopped both coming and going on I-90, and highly recommend this park for an overnight or a peaceful rest.

Great location!! Bathroom was clean but could use some updates. Loved the people. Very happy with cement pad and everything was there. Came in late and we had no problem.

Great staff! It was a convenient stop for the night. Park is dated and restrooms could use a facelift. Office is well stocked and the pizza was nice.

Bathrooms and showers need upgrade. No secure lock on outside door!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry with your disappointment, but bathroom outside doors must remain unlocked for the safety of all guests. Each shower and toilet stall have a locking mechanism for privacy. Management is the only ones that can lock the bathroom in it's entirety.

Of the five or so KOA's along western South Dakota along I-90 this is your best choice especially if you are car/tent camping. Many of the campgrounds along I- 90 here are not much more than parking lots for RV's. We found this KOA superior in many ways. This WAS supposed to be our stop for the gateway to the Black Hills. Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight a 100 miles eastward. So we visited in the early morning before anyone was awake. It was mostly empty as we were in the very early part of the season but it was evident we had missed out on a great campground. We visited May 2023.

What a great overnight stay. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They also serve dinner delivered to the RV...my wife is STILL raving about the spaghetti. 1880 Old Town in just down the road and well worth a visit.
