Need to put gravel on roadway not much walking place too many mud holes. Otherwise kept very clean Pathway to beach needs lots of work

It's such a pretty place! Quiet, charming, and a perfect weekend getaway. There are things for kids to do, things for adults to do, and lovely spacious sites. My husband and I have been here before, and we'll be back.

We have been coming to this KOA for many years. It is our favorite KOA. We came this last week and found that it is under new ownership. I am so happy to see the new owners are really keeping it just as nice as it has always been. They are very friendly and helpful. This KOA is clean and perfect for that get away we all need. Already booked our next dates for Sept.

Very nice place near the pacific ocean. The place is made with a lot of expertise and has a wonderful path to the ocean. We love this place!

For the price you charged there were no amenities at our site which was muddy and far from any restrooms. Greenery around site was overgrown and unkept. The restroom had rusty doors and locks. They were clean. There was limited beach access down steep stairs. You charged almost double what we pay at most other Koa’s. Not worth it.

It looks like you booked a forest back in water/electric site (no sewer). We maintain the sites & intentionally leave the foliage around those sites fuller to provide privacy. We are working on the stairs to the beach and hope to have a solution soon. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations.

This is the most expensive KOA we have ever stayed in (73.76) . The woman hung up when I ask the price. She said on the phone their restrooms and showers were closed and not fill our water tanks. When we arrived at 4:00, the office was closed, and not scheduled to open until 10:00 the following morning. The restrooms were closed, the water tasted terrible, the laundry was dirty.

We've had issues with our phone getting dropped and are working on this. Our restrooms are never closed & are available for guests 24/7. During your stay we were working limited hours due to still being in the off season. Guests can fill there tanks any time.

Loved our stay…customer service was excellent with all our questions answered. It was our first time at any KOA and the team at this Willapa Bay site made us feel like family. We enjoyed everything about our experience. The only negative are the extremely steep stairs at the end of the trail on the way down to the beach. Other than that it was great in every way.

We initially had a decent time, considering the weather. But after checking out, we were charged $78 extra without any reason and the campground staff is refusing to answer any messages. We had paid in full six months prior and paid cash for food so there was no reason to bill anything

As mentioned in the email conversation we had, rates are subject to change and where adjusted for holiday weekend rates and the cost of inflation. We did provide a 50% refund for the price difference. Thank you for understanding.

Great place to stay. Sites are well maintained. Would definitely return. Muddy areas due to all the rain that had fallen.

We had issues from the start with one of the employees. He was very rude to us a out our dogs and our music in the first 30 minutes of being there. Later he accused our dog of biting another while they were playing together while the owners were there too. He was aggressive attacking us about our dog. He completely ruined out Memorial day weekend. We will not be going here ever again.

Didn't love our time there. Campground had heavy rain so the site was swampy. Trail to the beach was nearly impassable with thick mud.When the rain finally stopped, our trailer was invaded by ants. Heard repeated gunshots nearby on the day we left which had me a little concerned. I know it was probably just someone target shooting on their private property, but I didn't like how close it seemed.

We are sorry to hear of your experience. There is nothing we can do about the rain, but we do spray every site the best we can for pests (when it is not raining). As far as the gunshots we do believe those were fireworks. But there are times that local hunters are in the nearby forests.

Muddy no wifi worth having

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. WiFi is tricky for us since we are so remote. We are constantly working on this and hope to have a solution soon. As far as the mud, we understand this concern as well. We are making upgrades to the campground soon and will have this issue fixed hopefully.

The people were great & the location was clean. The little store was super nice . They truly wanted you to enjoy your stay. But there was NOTHING there remotely worth the cost. We have multiple reservations through this summer and none are this expensive.

A great stay. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Spacious, nicely manicured campsites. The area is great and very tasty oysters that can be purchased. We so enjoyed our visit. Bathrooms were very clean. The walk to the beach, while a little steep, was definitely worth the walk. We saw deer right from our campsite. Hope to return!

Quiet, clean and good place to relax. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The walk to the beach is tough due to some very steep but sturdy stairs, (not for small children). Clam raking is awesome although the beach isn't great for "combing". The location isa not isolated so a vehicle is needed for any other activities or exploring.

Have stayed there many times over the past 6 years. Always a pleasure! Friendly, helpful staff. Camp grounds and facilities are always clean and modern. Will very likely stay there again in the near future/

We had the most frustrating & unpleasant arrival ever at a KOA as there was major confusion over our printed reserved site fee. The office wanted to increase the price by aprox $70 then $50 and had major difficulty applying our KOA card discount? The situation took a very long time to resolve and was fought as if we were wrong. If this had been our 1st ever KOA it would have been our last!

Very quiet. The days we were there it rained every night and was cloudy during the daytime. The spots were flooded but they dried off pretty quickly. The beaches were great for getting clams. Well maintained and each spot had plenty of room to spread out

Our only negative issue was the short office hours ( out of season). We ran out of propane overnight and there would have been no one to help us until 2 pm. Phone number went to voicemail (we had questions prior to arrival) and call was never returned. Campground facilities were very clean and cutely decorated. I didn’t appreciate the $5 pet fee. I feel that’s unnecessary.

Bay Center is one of our favorite campgrounds but there was a notable change since the last management. Perhaps just a sign of the times.

We fortunately got the quiet end of the park. It was very early in the season, so understandably, the grounds (lawns) were a little long. All in All, we had a very nice experience.

This was one of our favorite places ro stay. It was personable, family oriented, and fun for the kids. Now we go, and it feels like any other over-priced campground. The weekend prices are outrageous (they seem to have doubled what they used to be.. Also, be sure to bring your boots.. the place is a mud hole. The only saving grace is the clamming. Hopefully it'll change in the Summer.

We arrived after a long wet drive. We asked for a pull thru so we wouldn't have to unhook our trailer. The man at the desk was very nice & helpful. He gave us a spot that was easy to pull in.Trouble is,with all the rain, this spot had a large puddle taking a lot of it's space. He would have changed us to a back in, but we decided to stay, & buy another water hose to reach a dry spot there.

Campground was clean. A bit small for us as we have two large dogs that like to walk alot. The guy also said we had to use their wood.

We loved the quiet campground. We went out and collected clams for dinner and walked the beach which was not far away. The management was awesome. Very nice and informative. We will definitely be back!

We booked in the evening at the last minute & Brian & Erica were so great & accommodating! We were out of town & on our way home, then needed a place for the night. They have excellent customer service, they got us a cabin ready & showed us where the trail to the bay was. Everything was nice & clean! Beautiful campground! We really appreciated a nice place after a long trip & they were just great! The Wilson's

Very amazing KOA site! Very peaceful and very dog friendly site! We absolutely loved it there! Stayed at Deluxe Cabin K6 . Very nice!!! Highly recommended!!!!! We definitely be back! Amazing management Brian and his lovely wife!

Stayed overnight on 04/03/24 in a cabin with two kids, 8 &13. Super attentive and friendly hosts with on-site store and other amenities. Clam rakes, available for rental are completely worth it, as we caught our limits in about 30 minutes and enjoyed a luxury dinner in no time. It was our first time raking clams and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful with tips (over 15 years old need to get a license off-site). Cabin was cozy and clean. Had a fantastic time. We'll definitely be back.
