We loved everything about our stay! Large spots, great food/snacks at the food shack, delicious lobster rolls!, safe for the kids to ride their scooters around, clean playground area, and plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. And very friendly and helpful staff and the store delivery service is the best! We spend almost a week here and would definitely go back.

Despite the rain, KOA personnel were very helpful and accomodating! We enjoyed Bar Harbor and the surrounding areas, and seeing "our" camping friends!

Excellent location! Clean sites. Friendly and attentive staff. The unisex bathhouse is great for families with children. The text messages of activities and last calls for wood and ice were helpful.

Appreciated the grill, the view the electric and water hookups. The bathrooms were not the cleanest and the although the new washers and dryers were very clean and new looking only 2 washers were working and 2 dyers were also not in working commission. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful.

It rained a lot during our stay. Lots of mosquitoes! Couldn’t see Maine from Cadillac Summit because of fog. Bathroom was soaking wet from humidity.

This is our favorite place and all the amenities are great. Even though we don’t have kids we love the sewing the children & families doing things together. The staff are amazing, especially Jane who keeps the grounds mowed & flowers in good shape…she mows & weed-eats every day the weather permits to do open sites before the next arrival. Lobster Cafe should be open every day not closed T-W.

This was our 22nd year on the same site at the KOA. Staff and campers are always friendly. Very friendly new Manager. Rode around and met the campers!! love the ocean, just wished after 4 years of having an uprooted tree stump on the lot it would be taken care of. Looking forward to 2024.....hopefully stump free!!

Staff was overall not friendly. My site was not cleaned when I arrived despite two staff members on two different golf carts parked right next to each other having a casual conversation and not helping move out of the way while parking the rig. You will receive at least 8 txt messages a day to sell you stuff. Not worth the money. We found a better park with amenities even closer to the park.

Our stay was great! The only reason why I didn't rate as a 5 was because there was a site across from us that was completely under water and the people camping there couldn't get in or out of their trailer without stepping in fairly deep water. Location next to the ocean and access to tide pools was fantastic though!

Absolutely loved the campground- our favorite one ever! The staff were super friendly, and it feels like KOA thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable from the smores around the fire to the honeywagon to dump tanks. My only complaint/feedback would be that all waterfront sites are not equal, and I didn't get the kind of site that I thought I would. However, we still absolutely loved it

Staff were amazing! My only suggestion would be to keep up with the website in terms of activities and when they will specifically be offered. We thought we might be able to participate in certain activities during our stay and were disappointed to find out they weren't all available daily.

Great in so many ways BUT the internet access REMAINS iffy at BEST which in this day and age is completely unacceptable. Also, PLEASE mend the sail on The Carolyn, or take in the sail (just wrap it to the mast). Having this memorial is truly lovely and for those of us (many), who knew and loved Carolyn over decades, are completely offended by the tattered sail. An easy fix. Shame on KOA.

The view was beautiful! The staff were so friendly and great with the kid’s activities! We loved the shuttle service being right there. The lobster hut was delicious! Very nice place to stay!

An absolutely amazing campground. I have never been to a campground where the staff was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The best family & pet friendly campground ever !!! Thank you for an amazing experience

Stayed eight days - so much to do in the area! Hiked, biked, off roaded. And then when we came back we would take advantage of the on site cafe which had pancake breakfast, lobster, and ice cream! (among other things). Great launching point for exploration.

We absolutely love this KOA. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. We love the spot. This time it rained a TON and they could have done a much better job keeping up with the cleanliness on the bathrooms... It really was kind of off-putting and surprising since our last visit they were pristine. But we love it here and will return.

The lobster guy was awesome. Best lobster roll we had on the island. Just wish the shack was open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Great views. Great staff.

The weather played a factor, but the location for tent camping was not good. Due to the rain it was almost flooded. I originally had a primitive site booked but there was electric , which was so flooded it was really unsafe . It was very uncomfortable being surrounded by RV and trailers. Not at all what was expected. When reserving a tent site one would expect not to be surrounded by rv.

The women in the office were sweet, helpful, & seemed to really care about customer’s. They were genuinely happy crew! Dave was maintenance (maybe), and helped us newbies park our camper & was so helpful. Dave also helped us empty Grey water & black water during our stay. Super nice guy. Maintenance picked up trash & kept showers clean. There were activities for the kids, the cafe is awesome!

This place was just disappointing. We are aware that a site near a tourist attraction can cost more. But what this place sells as a premium site is simply a cheek. For $169 a night, even though it was raining, we expected a spot that was immaculate. What we encountered was simply a boggy grassy site. We can only recommend the management to take e.g. the KOA in front of Glacier N.P. as a good examp

Other than the view which is beautiful, the grassy area where we were parked needs much more attention. Ground was very uneven, there were holes that needed to be filled in and low areas which turned into mud pits when it rained. Gravel needs to be put down!

You can never go wrong with KOA! We choose KOA campgrounds over all the others because we feel welcome with our 5 canine children! Most other places give us a hard time about that. And this place is fabulous! Beautiful views, super friendly and helpful staff, delivery service right to your camp site from the store, a great lobster cafe right on premises - just too much great stuff to list!

The location is awesome and the waterfront sites are hard to beat. We have been coming for years and always enjoyed out stay but this year the staff went above and beyond. It wasn't the best weather but having your trash picked, a friendly pump out, or ice and wood delivered makes it much better. Our kids loved the train rides too. I wish other KOAs had a staff like this one!

BEST KOA we have ever been too! Whole new experience vs camping in Canada, they deliver wood and there is a food hut on site great for the day we packed up and headed home. The on lit lobster pots and fresh liver was a super nice convenience. The view from our site was next level. Thank you we will be back.

Very nice campground. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the firewood was not seasoned enough, very hard to start as it was not dry enough.

Staff very nice. WAY overpriced…you are paying just for proximity to Bar Harbor. Grounds (sites and roads) not well maintained, VERY unappealing except for a few lots right on the water.

One of the best campgrounds we’ve been to. Service is great….especially love the daily texts about events and last call for ice and wood. Felt very well taken care of and will definitely be back! Thank you!
