We were told our "premium patio" pull thru site had ocean view. NOT! THIS COMPARED TO OTHER KOA'S, WAS NOT A PREMIUM PATIO, ROCKS AND WEEDS GROWING UP AROUND THEM. THE SITES WERE TIGHT, PEA STONE, AND NOT LEVEL. OVERALL A MANOR DISAPPOINTMENT.

Great place! We got an ocean lot and the view was great! Our rv was parked facing the ocean. The price are quite high but it was worth it.

Beautiful waterfront or water view sites. All the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. Very convenient location for access to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. We hope to return to MDI and will definitely stay here when we do!

Wish the weather had been better but the staff and our site were exceptional. When they say Oceanside, they mean it! Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful campground. Clean sites, friendly staff very quiet. The view from the sites are amazing. Highly recommend this koa worth every dollar. Will be back

Koa campground and staff were excellent- was not thrilled with location due to high winds. Was unable to enjoy the outside very much. Hard to have campfire or do much.views were excellent at high tide.

We stayed 5 nights to explore Acadia. Campground is perfectly located for sunset views. The facility is immaculate, staff is super helpful and friendly. Everything is clean and attractive. We have stayed at many campgrounds, and many KOAs. This one is absolutely top notch

This was my first experience using my motorhome and I couldn’t have asked to a better experiences. My brother and I kept saying how friendly all the staff was and outgoing when it came time to help. The site was better than what I expected from the photos and much more space than we thought we would I have.

The folks at reception were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They set us up with a beautiful site overlooking the ocean -- by far the best location for the price quoted. We would book again in a nano-second.

Excellent. I'm a Hammock camper and I my stay was perfect. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. I needed this as I was practicing a word diet ( using only enough words to communicate positively to others, other than that. All communication with my Spirit). The energy is great as I absorbed it through grounding with my bare feet. I felt a happy history here... for a while!

Lovely ocean side and ocean view lots. We stayed in early May which is well outside the normal season so it was well below capacity. Enjoyed not having other units nearby which means I would not like camping here at the height of the season as neighbors would be much too close for our liking. Mind you we find this is true of most commercial campgrounds. Very over priced, especially off season!

We made reservations with a group and when we arrived the site we had booked had been changed. We were told the "Regenerator" had picked another site for us. Our site was now 2 rows away from our friends and I believe we paid more to have an ocean view when I made the reservation. this was a huge disappointment not being with our group of friends.

Bathrooms were dirty and unkempt for majority of stay, did not like the Fact that bathroom was open to men and women in restroom and shower side, I guess that’s the new gender fluid experiment? But I feel it’s unsafe for kids and teenagers. Besides that it has always been one of our favorite campgrounds to visit each year

The place is immaculate, the staff is wonderful, the bathrooms are very clean, and the whole experience is unbelievable. The Lobster Cafe has delicious food , including lobster, right in the campground. The sunsets leave you in awe. A definite place to visit.

Stayed at an Oceanside Cabin during our Acadia explorations. We were very impressed with these accommodations and the view of the water. Taking one star off for the noisy road right by these cabins. The rest of the campground was peaceful and lovely. You'd think for the price we were paying the noise would have been minimal.
