Our cabin (K17) made our stay miserable. It faces into the marsh , and had a yellowjacket nest (2 of us allergic ). The group next to us was large and because of how the cabins are situated the smoke from their fire flowed directly into our cabin , making me cough all night . The bathrooms needed more attention at the KOA. We cut our stay short and had to end our trip. People.were all great

The campground was at a great location, close to the town and park. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and were available throughout the day. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed at KOA/Oceanside in Bar Harbor, ME and it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed our cabin and the convenient shuttles to downtown. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

It was my first visit to Bar Harbor and we had the most amazing time! Michael and the staff are doing an amazing job with the campground. The park is well kept and clean, with live music on Sunday evening, which was awesome! The lobster trap cafe has such a great selection that you don’t need to leave the property to get the best lobster roll around. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Very enjoyable staff is very friendly campground taken care of we were on site #365 which needs to be leveled it is a back in site and had to use two 2x6’s to level my camper on driver side we really enjoy this site

We really enjoyed our stay here & it was very close to the attractions. They had lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Everything was very clean. There was top notch service as far as trash pick up from your site, delivery of firewood, and the food from the lobster stand was delicious. Our only complaint was the mosquitoes and very weak internet service. I would highly recommend staying here.

The cabin was set far back and was a bit musty and smelled like wet dog. The bathrooms were a distance from the cabins (as are most KOA cabins) and pathway isn’t very well lit at night. The bathrooms themselves were fairly clean but the showers were very dirty, the two I used had a bad odor and one had nowhere to hang your belongings. Grounds nice, people friendly and overall we had a nice time.

The stay was great. The sites are well maintained and the facilities are clean. If I could recommend improvement on anything it would be the lobster trap cafe. Each time we attempted to visit it, they did not have an item or items as advertised. Not a big deal for someone who has been there an expected it, but as a first time who would maybe rely on it as a meal would be dissatisfied.

Our stay and site was nice as always. Have been coming up 2 times a year for a week each for many years as have several people we know. The cost are starting to get excessive. The site that was 103 a night 3 years ago is up to 175 next year. It used to cost 10 to reserve your site for next year, it is up to 50 now? Crazy increases. We all are starting to look around for other places.

Stayed 4 nights, moved sites twice since we extended. Great services, friendly staff, consistent internet. I’d come back again!

we have stayed for over 20 yrs. This year had some problems. We booked for next year and were told we would receive an e-mail.None to date. We had an Amazon package delivered and did not get notified by Office. We dumped on our way out the last day and there was no wast basket or water available. The new manager needs to get his act together.

The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. The air conditioner had black mold in the vents and smelled like a dead animal. This is the second year there and it was better than last year however it still could use improving for 270 a night.

Although it's advertised with WiFi, during the whole day of our stay, there was no WiFi in or near the cabin. The staff told us they were working on it, but it's not available when we left. I asked if there's any compensation for that, the owner refused flatly.

Cabine très propre. Grand lit très confortable. Patio moustiquaire fantastique. Pas d’ustensiles cependant ni évier dans la kitchenette et notre frigo n’avait pas de mini congélateur. Les lits superposés donnent sur l’espace principal kitchenette et grand lit. Petite vue sur la mer. Le lobster roll de la cantine est sublimement délicieux. Personnel sympathique et accueillant.

Absolutely amazing! The staff was outstanding! Always friendly! The cafe was a nice place to get a bite to eat--and also very friendly! We did not use the firewood or laundry services but what a wonderful service to offer! My sister and I were last at Acadia National Park 43 years ago as part of an epic 2 week trip! Thanks for making our 2023 trip another trip to remember!!

Had what we needed. Beautiful sunset. Not as many amenities as other KOAs and cabins near marshy area meant lots of bugs.

Reserved a prime ocean site but the picture shown on the website was not the site we were assigned, which was deceiving. Could barely see the ocean from our site because of all the tree branches. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay. Restrooms and area for trash disposal were not too far away. Staff at check-in and the store were very friendly and welcoming.

This is a great campground. Very attentive staff. The one suggestion: more to do for kids. The carts should be free for the kids. A new playground and perhaps a small pool or splash pad is needed. There are so many kids that come to the park, that it is more than a view for them. It is sad there is nothing for them to do.

Great place to staycation when in Maine— especially visiting Acadia National Park’s best trails & community of Bar Harbor adventures, putt putt, hikes, boats, island walks, & paddle boarding and eating lobster seafood in many locations around & different places to check out but KOA also brings you the perfect sunset!

The staff was great and very helpful. The park is well ran and clean, with lots of variety in the store. The cafe had lots of menu choices, that are reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning to this KOA.

The park is beautiful, the sea side sites are amazing. It would be a nice addition if there was something else for the kids to do ( jump pad, larger playground). The ocean side-rock exploring is great for a few days, but a little more for the kids to do after a few days would be a welcome addition. And crafts would be nice.

Booked this last minute and it was the highlight of the trip for our family. Wish we hadn’t wasted a night at another campground and just came here to begin with. Already planning another trip to this KOA for next Summer.

The location of this campsite is unmatched. We loved that we could catch the island explorer bus into town. The lobster trap cafe was awesome, and it was great having access to the water from the camp. We stayed in a k cabin, and it was a bit annoying that we couldn’t pull the car right up to the cabin, but the wagons were handy. Also, we did not have WiFi in our cabin.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time and stay at Bar Harbor Oceanside. One of our best. We had some mishaps on our journey to this KOA but after our stay it made us forget all about those problems. Looking forward to re booking our next stay hear.

Going on 20 years of staying with you and still loving it! We appreciate the noticeable improvements to amenities (cafe, food offerings, stock in camp store, etc.). The only downside is the increase in amount of cabins in the center which makes for an increase in road noise due to tree removal. This year’s staff was excellent - friendly, funny, and efficient. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Bar Harbor KOA Oceanside is a very special campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin on the waters edge. The view was spectacular. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable which is so important at the end of a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sunsets over the bay are breathing. We will be back next year
