Pluses?: This is a well-kept campground with friendly, helpful staff. A shuttle stops at the campground and provides free transport to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The public access to a beach and a patio area is appreciated- watching the sun set over the Western Bay was spectacular. Downsides? No cable, no over-the-air TV, intermittent wi-fi, loud music on Sunday at the cafe.

Very much enjoyed our stay! Watched sunset by the water, ate delicious fresh seafood at the Lobster Hut and of course toured the area! Acadia National Park was amazing

Where do I begin? On arriving easy check in, the escort to our site made us feel so special and welcomed, no gate or pass, Yes! The cleanliness place, quiet, friendly, and the views?!!! They are stunning, from the sky to the water. All around they are go above and beyond. Oh, and the cafe, delicious food and convenient. We will be coming back next year same time. Thank you ! Beautiful location with very friendly staff. We loved waking up on the ocean and the sunset was breathtaking!! Loved all the amenities, the lobster trap cafe, all the activities but especially the Halloween train for the kids. Would love to spend more time there. The campstie was above our expectations!! A must stay if visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park!!

This campground has many good features and a few bad. The starry sky promotion is nothing more than a field with rvs packed in. This space should not be over 100 dollars per night except it is close to Acadia.

The cabin was clean, the toilets and showers were decent and the hosts were very friendly! I'm definitely going to return!

Tent site was on a corner next to the porta-potties, wagons and parking area for cars. No privacy or tree cover from any direction even from the site directly next to us. People coming and going all night which kept us awake. There was an open tent spot on the end of our row that was surrounded 3 ways by trees. Not sure why we were not given that spot. Very disappointed especially for the price.

It’s a wonderful campground. I would have loved to enjoy the outdoors in the evening but it is so dark. I wish they had more lighting so you could take evening walks with the dogs etc. I just don’t feel like it’s safe for women camping alone, which there are a lot of us.

Low rating for lack of WiFi connectivity, could not watch our tv each evening and barely use our phones through the Wi-Fi. The location is good and staff are helpful and friendly.

My husband and I got to stay for 5 days and we had the best trip ever! The cabin, the people, the lobster pizza, the view of the stars, the proximity to town and hikes was just absolutely perfect! It was a 10/10 for us & we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Stayed 3 nights full hookups, had a decent ocean view. Had an excellent lobster roll meal. Was close to Acadia national park, Bar Harbor and other points of interest.

Our site by the water was spectacular. The boiled lobster dinners were an added treat. We urge anyone going to this KOA to try for a sight by the water to enjoy the magnificent sunsets.

Camp was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We went downtown for dinner; Acadia National park was fabulous; camp had beautiful view of the water and the sunset was fantastic. The only draw backs are not having any sewer hook up and the campground was a little pricey!

We had a wonderful stay! All of the safe was so friendly and our rental unit was so clean. Beautiful views. We will definitely be back!

Very poor site. Under water for most of stay. Had to tie up electrical connection to keep it out of ponded water. Site was not very pretty....weedy and muddy. Hardly any grass. WIFI was extremely poor...slow and most of the time could not connect at all.

Our cabin was so charming (and clean)! The campground had wonderful food and store offerings, as well as views. We sure did get a Maine weather experience, but were grateful to have one clear, starry night on the camp's beach. Unfortunately, a lot of the RV campers disregarded rules and had bright exteriors lights on throughout the night, but everything else about our stay was great!

Easy check-in, convenient spot, super accommodating staff (delivered firewood and starter to the campsite), and great food/entertainment at the campground (lobster dinner + blueberry pie (better than what we had in town), Fog Town beer tasting, and live music!)

Great place to camp. We stayed in a tent and were in the minority among RVers, but the spot was private and right on the water. This was our second visit and we will return.
