Nice place and good people running the campground but the water pressure was so bad I ended up using my water pump in my rv so I could shower, sad to say for this price ( $160 per night) that’s not acceptable

Difficult check in process. Check in for cabins is between 4-5pm and by 350pm our cabin was not ready and we had other reservations so we had to check in at night. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful with this process. Solar lights along walk to bathroom are out by midnight- dangerous dark walk cabin to bathroom. Needs better, safer lighting at night.

Michael the new mgr. doesn’t want staff talking for any length of time to campers. I don’t understand his lack of flexibility. We also were told that next year if you’re not a couple you may not have a job. There are workers that are single that we have known for 3 years. They are hard workers but are single. We were told they may not be welcome back. Michael needs to go!!

Wide open campground. Some sites have great views. Very pricey given local alternatives. Firewood provided wet and soft wood - $11. Doubt if we’d return.

We loved our stay at Bar Harbor KOA. Great location, beautiful and clean grounds, friendly staff and our cabin was great. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great location for this campground as it sits right next to the harbor. Sites located right next to the harbor have water/electric only but we had a large pull through and a view of the harbor. Rented class 1 electric bikes for the Acadia National park carriage roads for a great day of riding. This campground also has a food truck that serves up lobster rolls and other fish meals. Would stay again

It was very disappointing on how much I paid no pillows for the pull out sofa Brocken bowls and a knife. Need to put more trash bags in cabin when someone is staying for a week also, you need to put a recycling can in the cabin. It’s need a grill cleaning brush I had to go and buy one. The pillows in the bed room were flat as a bored I’m going to stay at a motel next year. You need to put ston

We asked for an Oceanside view and I think we got the best one. Such friendly staff who answered all our questions about the free shuttle to town and thru the Park. We traveled from Phoenix Arizona and felt very welcomed upon our arrival. Staff made our visit a very good experience. Thank you

Truly appreciated the convenient Island Explorer bus stop, the friendly & helpful office staff who accommodated our late arrival, the well stocked store (even at the end of the season), the well maintained landscaping & facilities, the lovely setting, dog friendly campground with responsible dog owners, and fast firewood & ice delivery. What’s not to like? Thanks, and see you next season!

Very good. I recommend a list of what the cabin has for renters. Ie with the kitchenette I assumed some plastic ware at least, but there was none.

I was frustrated with how our booking was handled. I asked for a specific site when booking Dec. of last year. I was never told we couldn't until we arrived to check in. The woman who checked us in had no interest in looking into it and quickly dismissed me and told me the site she had us at at was better and she couldn't do anything else for us anyway. From our perspective it was not better.

We stayed here at go into Acadia National Park. Very busy KOA . Most things were fairly close by, gas, food, shopping. Good experience overall.

Place has all the charm of a Walmart parking lot. Our site was barely big enough to open the doors of the truck. But the worst part is they charged us 160.00 for exactly 16 hour stay. Total rip-offf. All other private campgrounds are charging about 50-60 bucks. I will be sure to tell as many people as I can NOT to go there.

We really enjoyed the stay and all the new friends we made. It's kind of close together but as expected for a KOA. The staff was excellent. Sites were pretty level. Water pressure was pretty low. Laundry room has 7 washer and 12 dryers. It was a busy place. My only downside was the steep cost to stay. But it looked thike all the Campground around the area were that way.

Didn't tell us the cable Didn't work, tried to get a full hook site waß told no 50 Amp available yèt the two nights we were there we saw at least 10 50 amp sites woth hookup. During check in was told about thw Lobster Shack-told that was great. We didnt tow a vehicle so we were excited to get lobster. FAILED to tell me they were closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Oh well won't �eturn

Check in was easy and friendly. Firewood was wet and after using many fire starters wood would not burn. Transportation to Bar Harbor was not very good ended too early.

Pictures look great but didn't know we were going to be in a grass field as a campsite. I'm sure the owner likes the revenue but, just install some shrubbery or borders between each site and we'd stay again.

Unisex show room ( come on now, how uncomfortable). Muddy and water covered lower sights. No rock pad. Stood in water ankle feel hooking up and unhooking.

Stayed at an Oceanside Cabin during our Acadia explorations. We were very impressed with these accommodations and the view of the water. Taking one star off for the noisy road right by these cabins. The rest of the campground was peaceful and lovely. You'd think for the price we were paying the noise would have been minimal.
