Always a great stay at Bar Harbor Koa. Absolutely perfect location. I've stayed here many times, going back almost 20 years as a kid and now as an adult. We always try for an oceanfront site, amazing views right on the water. It appears rates for next year have increased like everything else sadly, however you are paying for a premium location on the water near a national park.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The campground was beautiful and the kids loved all the Halloween activities!

Nice pull thru patio sites but many other sites are in mud hole. Grass sites get very muddy. Bathroom showers are Antiques and need upgrading. Laundry room had multiple broken machines and for this size of campground this Laundry was especially small and inadequate.

Incredible stay, loved the relaxed atmosphere at the campground, as well as the stunning views over the water. That sunset!! The camp staff were so helpful, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Showers/laundry and sites were meticulously kept, wifi was lightening fast. We will stay here again, loved the location to Accadia, as well as being far enough away from Bar Harbor to avoid crowds.

Wonderful views and plenty of activities! The on site seafood cooking was great. Sunsets from the beach were the best on our trip!

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately there was heavy rain so it prevented some entertainment. We will visit again. There only complaint we had was the bathroom area had an offensive odor. Maybe because of the torrential rain? I do wish the camp store was open earlier on Sunday, would have liked to have checked it out before we left. Over all a great experience! Our cabin was cozy and comfortable.

We have stayed in a deluxe cabin for 5 years now and have always enjoyed the area and campground. All the associates are friendly and fulfill any needs promptly.

Our stay was amazing and so were the views! Beautiful sunsets every night!� only suggestion is to improve the water pressure down in 261 area it was so bad we had to use our pump.

Spent two nights, nice campground. We were in a back in spot on one side end, so we weren't packed side by side as other sites. We really enjoyed getting dinner from the outdoor café, food was great. Although bathrooms are older, they were well kept. Staff very friendly.

We have been camping here for many years, never an issue. Barb & Pat have been good to us, and Carolyn, we miss Carolyn. Mostly new staff this year, again no issues. We will be back next year.

The sites were very small and not maintained. Bathrooms were decently clean. We had our dogs on a 4 ft leash at the site and other dog owners would allow their dogs on retractable leash to come In our site to say “hi” even asked repeatedly not to. The view was pretty.

It was not the nicest KOA we have stayed at. Terribly over priced. Water pressure was terrible; complained twice and nothing they could do about it. The bathrooms need some work. Most of the dryers and washers were out of service on top of being very pricey. It was convenient for the touring we did was probably the most positive thing about it.

Perfect Location. Nice well maintained bathrooms (with private stalls). The NPS bus stops right at the main office - so convenient. Friendly and helpful staff.

We love staying at KOA but unfortunately this one wasn't our favorite. Pros: -Breath taking view of water , beautiful sunsets -Fridge and coffee maker in cabin -Clean bathroom and showers -Location Cons: - Hardly any activities for kids (no jump pad,pool,movie nights,game areas) -Dog hairs and dog bowls in the room, a real turn off -only 3 shower stalls, we always had to wait

Our reserved site was occupied and the Support from the Staff was not the best. We have expected to get the firewood for free for the trouble we had!!

We stayed in a rustic cabin. We had to cart all of our belongings to the cabin. We could not park near our cabin. I did not care for any of this at all. It was too difficult. I had to make five trips. The cabin was very dusty and dirty with cobwebs. Perhaps if I had stayed in the campground area, it would’ve been better.

Easy access in and out. Local shuttles and buses stop in the campground making it easy to get around. Cafe on site is marvelous. Views are exceptional since park is right on the water.

Lovely setting. Very clean and well cared for. Staffmember Eric was exceptionally helpful and kind, as was the staff who lives in the smallest trailer who's name i forget! Will return for sure.

Campground clean and well kept. Was disappointed that store/office closed at 5 when campground was very full. Beautiful view of water. Very quiet.

Stayed at an Oceanside Cabin during our Acadia explorations. We were very impressed with these accommodations and the view of the water. Taking one star off for the noisy road right by these cabins. The rest of the campground was peaceful and lovely. You'd think for the price we were paying the noise would have been minimal.
