We look forward to our Bar Harbor Oceanside vacation from the moment we pull away and cross the bridge into Trenton. We can't wait to get back every year. The most beautiful sites anywhere and the staff is always top notch.

In keeping with the water conservation efforts, I believe replacement of the older toilets with newer ones would probably pay for itself in less than one season.

I love this campground, it offers up accommodations of all types and the family atmosphere is really great. This is my second stay and I will be back. The camp personnel are so warm and friendly and there for you. I have no complaints whatsoever. Thanklyou

Location is excellent for going in and out of Acadia. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. View from campsites are wonderful. Facilities are clean and well kept. Sites for RVs were well leveled.

Staff was kind and helpful. We do wish that the rental Airstream trailer and site would have been checked prior to our arrival. We had no heat the first night. After two calls to the office, this was resolved and a backup heater provided. In addition, the trailer door could not be locked from the inside. As well, the outdoor chairs and fire pit area were covered with leaves and dirt.

Stayed in cabin 801 for 6 nights. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They went above expectations. Location of campground makes for easy day drives into Bar Harbor, Acadia NP, quiet side of Mount Desert Island, Schoodic Peninsula and Ellsworth. The cabin was ready early and they allowed early check in that we appreciated since we had been driving from Louisiana for days. Thank you

We had an Oceanside site for a week in May. It was cold and windy that week, but the campground is great. Our site was clean and the staff was great. Very assessable to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Lots of hiking, restaurants, etc nearby. This is our third year there and we will return next year.

The campgrounds are beautiful and well-kept. The cottage was clean, very comfortable, and secure. The KOA employees are all friendly and pleasures to work with. These reasons, and many more, are why I stay here twice a year. Thank you so much for another lovely stay!

We love KOAs and this was, hands down, the best we have ever been to. Exemplary customer service (quick responses to emails, phone calls, and even text messages!). They guide you to your site, deliver firewood and ice by text request, and remind you of important events happening on the site through text message. The deluxe cabin came with more amenities than we expected, too!

Excellent service, I received texted updates from the campground and was able to have firewood delivered while I was away from my site. Deluxe cabin was tidy and efficient. Campground store was very well stocked.

Wow! Seriously the best campground we have ever stayed in! The view from our Oceanside site was absolutely breathtaking. The sunset was spectacular. The staff, maintenance crew, and reservations were all not just polite but you can tell they love this koa. This Koa should be the standard of every campground across the country. We will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Enjoyed our stay. Spot 114 was level but it was mostly sand/dirt when the majority of the sites had nice grass. Texts from the KOA kept you up to date on things, very nice. Staff was very friendly. Very dog friendly! Would most likely stay here again if we travel this way in the future.

Staff was extremely friendly and enthusiastic upon check in. The gentleman who showed us to our site and helped us back in, deliver wood, etc. was amazing. We have stayed at many KOAs. This is by far the best crew we have ever encountered. I also appreciated the text messages: preparing for our trip, instructions for check-in, and daily updates regarding services (ice, wood) and activities.

It was great. Except two cabins in our family did not receive any texts & didn’t know we should have until our family in the third cabin told us when it was time to leave. We didn’t know the cafe was open. The staff was so friendly though!!!

Our cabin stay was wonderful! Clean, spacious cabin with lock & key door for added security. Electricity, lighting & fridge were a plus. We were able to request a heater which made a huge difference. Some buggies got inside, but it was tolerable and to be expected at any campsite. Staff was SUPER friendly, accommodating and professional. Great amenities at this KOA and overall pleasant experience!

Excellent stay! Great campground, great location, very clean. Staff was excellent. If we had an issue it was addressed immediately. We extended our stay 3 times! Fun activities too. Not related but the Island take out restaurant inside the Sunoco across the street was excellent and convenient when we didn't want to cook!

We were told our "premium patio" pull thru site had ocean view. NOT! THIS COMPARED TO OTHER KOA'S, WAS NOT A PREMIUM PATIO, ROCKS AND WEEDS GROWING UP AROUND THEM. THE SITES WERE TIGHT, PEA STONE, AND NOT LEVEL. OVERALL A MANOR DISAPPOINTMENT.

Great place! We got an ocean lot and the view was great! Our rv was parked facing the ocean. The price are quite high but it was worth it.

Beautiful waterfront or water view sites. All the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. Very convenient location for access to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. We hope to return to MDI and will definitely stay here when we do!

We stayed in an airstream rental trailer and were very impressed. All we had to bring was food. Unit was very clean, Quality linens and very good bed, outdoor amenities all excellent. Our wifi issue was dealt with immediately. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would return in a heartbeat.

Stayed at an Oceanside Cabin during our Acadia explorations. We were very impressed with these accommodations and the view of the water. Taking one star off for the noisy road right by these cabins. The rest of the campground was peaceful and lovely. You'd think for the price we were paying the noise would have been minimal.
