Our cabin was great and the staff very helpful. Overall we were quite pleased. We wish our view was better (pretty much just looking at RVs). A pool would be nice.

The view was beautiful! The staff were so friendly and great with the kid’s activities! We loved the shuttle service being right there. The lobster hut was delicious! Very nice place to stay!

An absolutely amazing campground. I have never been to a campground where the staff was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The best family & pet friendly campground ever !!! Thank you for an amazing experience

We had a great time, enjoyed our cabin and all the people who work there. They were great. I wished we got to say goodbye to everyone but we had to leave early. Thank you for everything, Richard and Debbie

Stayed eight days - so much to do in the area! Hiked, biked, off roaded. And then when we came back we would take advantage of the on site cafe which had pancake breakfast, lobster, and ice cream! (among other things). Great launching point for exploration.

We absolutely love this KOA. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. We love the spot. This time it rained a TON and they could have done a much better job keeping up with the cleanliness on the bathrooms... It really was kind of off-putting and surprising since our last visit they were pristine. But we love it here and will return.

The site is perfect and right outside all of the major attractions in Acadia. The workers were so nice and very responsive. I loved the text feature to order ice and wood and ask questions. The only downside is the cart system for the cabins. Will likely not return for that reason. Was an absolute pain.

The lobster guy was awesome. Best lobster roll we had on the island. Just wish the shack was open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Great views. Great staff.

The weather played a factor, but the location for tent camping was not good. Due to the rain it was almost flooded. I originally had a primitive site booked but there was electric , which was so flooded it was really unsafe . It was very uncomfortable being surrounded by RV and trailers. Not at all what was expected. When reserving a tent site one would expect not to be surrounded by rv.

The women in the office were sweet, helpful, & seemed to really care about customer’s. They were genuinely happy crew! Dave was maintenance (maybe), and helped us newbies park our camper & was so helpful. Dave also helped us empty Grey water & black water during our stay. Super nice guy. Maintenance picked up trash & kept showers clean. There were activities for the kids, the cafe is awesome!

This place was just disappointing. We are aware that a site near a tourist attraction can cost more. But what this place sells as a premium site is simply a cheek. For $169 a night, even though it was raining, we expected a spot that was immaculate. What we encountered was simply a boggy grassy site. We can only recommend the management to take e.g. the KOA in front of Glacier N.P. as a good examp

Like it was on the water and there was a food truck. Very convenient. The only thing was our site needed some mowing and weeding.

Other than the view which is beautiful, the grassy area where we were parked needs much more attention. Ground was very uneven, there were holes that needed to be filled in and low areas which turned into mud pits when it rained. Gravel needs to be put down!

We loved our time at KOA Bar Harbor! Quick drive to Acadia and the people could not have been nicer! They had everything we needed and then some. We will definitely be booking for next summer!

-The site was beautiful and extremely well cared for. -My cabin was immaculately clean, as were the grounds. -I appreciated the decorations around camp. -I was surprised how many goods were packed into the camp store. -The staff was really friendly. -I liked how the staff sent me texts to let me know what was going on around camp.

You can never go wrong with KOA! We choose KOA campgrounds over all the others because we feel welcome with our 5 canine children! Most other places give us a hard time about that. And this place is fabulous! Beautiful views, super friendly and helpful staff, delivery service right to your camp site from the store, a great lobster cafe right on premises - just too much great stuff to list!

The location is awesome and the waterfront sites are hard to beat. We have been coming for years and always enjoyed out stay but this year the staff went above and beyond. It wasn't the best weather but having your trash picked, a friendly pump out, or ice and wood delivered makes it much better. Our kids loved the train rides too. I wish other KOAs had a staff like this one!

BEST KOA we have ever been too! Whole new experience vs camping in Canada, they deliver wood and there is a food hut on site great for the day we packed up and headed home. The on lit lobster pots and fresh liver was a super nice convenience. The view from our site was next level. Thank you we will be back.

Very nice campground. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the firewood was not seasoned enough, very hard to start as it was not dry enough.

Staff very nice. WAY overpriced…you are paying just for proximity to Bar Harbor. Grounds (sites and roads) not well maintained, VERY unappealing except for a few lots right on the water.

One of the best campgrounds we’ve been to. Service is great….especially love the daily texts about events and last call for ice and wood. Felt very well taken care of and will definitely be back! Thank you!

I would rate recommending this campground higher except it was very pricey for what you got. Sites were relatively level, but the area I was in just had grass roads. The bathrooms always seemed dirty, but I’m sure much of that had to do with nonstop fog and humidity. Unisex baths and especially showers make me uncomfortable.

We we’re on a pull thru loop right by the water and it was very busy with people, walking, riding bicycles and a camp ground golf cart driving around dragging kids in little colors carts and ringing a cow bell. No sewer! We didn’t use any facilities as we were only there for two nights. Jane was very helpful getting us to our space and making sure we were setup! Very expensive .for what we g

This location was amazing! The site itself was breathtaking even in the Maine fog. The communication about the cafe hours, shuttle, and firewood is like no other campground I’ve stayed at (and we travel cross country a lot). The only thing that would make this place even better is to provide separate men’s and women’s showers. As a female, I was very uncomfortable taking a shower where men

The staff at this campground really cares about guests. If something is not properly working, they would fix it immediately. The campground's location is very convenient for visiting Acadia National Park. Thank you.
