One of the best KOA stays ever! This KOA is a welcomed, shaded oasis less than 10 mins from the visitor center. After a couple days of hiking and wandering around the National Park and surrounding area, in the heat of the day, it was pure joy to return to the exceptionally clean and wonderfully quiet KOA. Each and everyone of the staff is amazing. Stay here! Worth the money!

I normally would give this KOA five stars, but they moved the dog park next to the main camping area and we were next to it. The KOA overall is one of the best we've stayed at.

A lot of thought and consideration went into that move. Our hope was to add shade for the furry friends and their owners. Next time, let us know and we would have been able to move you.

Just want to say this was the best KOA we have stayed at. Even better than the 2023 KOA winner in Waterloo. (yes we stayed there as well.)The staff was the nicest, friendliest group of people ever. The Cook shack, outdoor meeting space, grounds and site space were amazing. The restrooms were top notch. They even opened the pool early due to the temps. Can not say enough!

Awesome as usual. Wood and Food was a little pricey, but I understand you have to survive, and most of the guests have money

The only thing about my site that I did not like was the large, low tree branches that hung over my RV. Pieces of bark kept falling on the roof. The Badlands are incredible & I enjoyed seeing the sites & hiking the trails. My last 2 nights, I was inundated with moths & am still trying to rid my RV of them. But that is nature. The campground was very peaceful.

I liked Badlands WR, but also I warn RVrs about the serious moth problem. We left an RV park by Rapid City, seeing no moths. At Badlands and continuing on eastward, we are killing 100s, that's right, 100s of big moths. At Badlands, I was killing 10s of moths each day. I opened my lower RV storage boxes and hundreds were around each door molding. Hard to sleep with moths hitting your head.

Great KOA, with super friendly people. Nice peaceful location, nice amenities and convenient to the park. It is much nicer, in my opinion, that the other commercial campground nearby.

Nice bathrooms and the snack shack was pretty good for breakfast and dinner the pool opened while we were there and that was really wonderful

One of the best KOA's we've ever been to. The pool was running, the golf course was getting a fresh coat of paint before the holiday weekend. There is a grillhouse that served amazing food, breakfast and dinner. Scavenger hunt for the kids, and all the staff was great. Really close to all the best of the badlands, mere minutes.

The VERY BEST!!!! Super clean restrooms and showers!! Staff escorted us to our site and offered assistance. Shady campsites and quiet. Beautiful pool. Location was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our site and all the various activities throughout the park. Everything was very clean, well organized, and well run. Check-in was ezpz. Grass and trees much appreciated. WiFi was free and plenty fast to meet our needs. Free showers and clean restrooms get two thumbs up. We will recommend to people we meet and will be back for future trips. Thanks!

Sites were nice and spacious, clean shower/restrooms, very friendly staff, laundry facilities were nice, reliable WiFi, and important it was close to the Badlands National Park! Would return if back in the area.

Friendly staff. Large dog park. The food was pretty good at their snack bar. The campgrounds could use some updating, like the putt putt course. The cable was weak, could only watch 1 tv.

Stayed a few nights. The first time plugging in the 50amp service wasn't working and they jumped right on it, had it working within the hour (changed the breaker). They did offer for us to move sites if we wanted. Everyone was super nice. The Badlands were smoky from the Canada wild fires �� was our only issue.

This campground is absolutely the most relaxing place we have stayed in awhile so convenient to the Badlands and away from the hustle and bustle. The grounds were so well maintained and good size of the lots.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!
