We used this as our base camp while we explored the Badlands, Culver SP, Deadwood, Wall, Devil's Tower etc. The service was outstanding and when we had to leave unexpectedly, the staff was awesome in helping us. Wifi was solid for the entirety of our stay.

Heavy rains, but a beautiful well-kept KOA.

My husband and I stayed at Badlands White River in a Class A rv in May. We were greeted by the hosts and they made sure that our unit would work. They changed up spots for us as there was a low hanging branch that may have been a bit too close. The attention was much appreciated! The stay was great, quite and close to all we wanted to see. Great Wifi and services. Would definitely recommend!!

Nice two day stay. Super close to Badlands National park. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The only negative was the ongoing construction behind us with idling equipment diesel fumes pretty bad. Also there must have been recent construction around our site with a lot of exposed muddy clay impossible to avoid around our site. Should be covered with pea stone etc. otherwise great value. Postve stay

We arrived on the first of them opening for the season! The campgrounds have were cleaning and organized! I picked this site because it's proximity to the Badlands. Everyone was so nice and friendly and always eager to help.

Office staff were helpful when arriving and the cook shack staff were amazing. The pizza was great for dinner after a long day on the road and the pancakes at breakfast were the best. All staff were the best! Hoping to visit this site again this year.

During our anniversary stay in September I dealt with an extremely rude staff member on two occasions. I called to discuss this and found out she is the manager of this location. No fixing that problem, so we avoided this location on the way back through and advise you do the same. She was completely out of line with her old lady grumpiness when I was asking simple direction-related questions.

Great campground in a most convenient location to go in and out of the Badlands. Staff was terrific and we would stay here again!

Location to badlands is great. Campground pretty run down. Not sure how it’s a “holiday”. Not like any Holiday KOA we’ve stayed at. Sites are small

I am so sorry you did not find our campground "Holiday" worthy. We are planning new minigolf and playground area for the winter. Brand new owners as of April 2022 did not allow for upgrades prior to campground opening April 28. Watch for upcoming pictures of improvements.

We stayed here for two night while passing though from the Black hills to MN. It was a great place to stay to explore the Badlands and Wall drug! The employee's where very helpful and friendly. The campgrounds where clean and taken care. Plenty to do at the campgrounds if you have children

Bathroom is disgusting!!! Have plenty of employees that drive around on a golf cart about every 10-15 minutes. There is literally 1/8” of scum built up on the wall. The floor is so dirty they put a mesh down that you step on that’s over the drain. The fixtures are broken. Read reviews if you don’t have a usable bathroom in your rv do not stay here I feel like I’m going to get feet fungus.

Friendly staff, clean laundry machines. I had a broken leaf spring on my fifth wheel trailer. The owner promptly helped me locate an RV Mobile repair. They had a replacement leaf set in stock and installed it bad the end of the day. We could resume our trip.

I’ve never experienced unfriendly, unhelpful staff at a KOA until this stay. This was quite out of the way so for the money and customer service it was very disappointing. We filter our water and still had a very bad taste.

Check in quick and easy. LOVE the escort to our site. Very accommodating to one in our group who wanted to move closer to the rest of us. On leaving, one of our group had a breakdown and Jean helped to arrange for a mobile tech!

The sites are very close together. We had to move three times. The ladies at the front desk were extremely unfriendly and acted like we were putting them out.

Very nice campground. Sites are nicely spaced with all the amenities. Lots of trees provide nice canopy and shade. Had a nice sized dog park for our pup as well. We looked at the campground in Cedar Pass in Badlands National Park and saw it was basically on street sites, no trees, no water or sewer, so we were very happy with our choice for this area.

We were there for 2 nights, luckily had an end spot otherwise spots are too close together for my liking. Placement of sewer and water was not ideal. Turns in and out of spots and roads within the campground were tight. Just an 'ok' stay. For the price I would stay somewhere else next time.

Perfect base for exploring Badlands. Friendly staff keeps a well-run campground and facilities. Nice walking areas in camp and along the river. We enjoyed the shady cottonwoods at our site. Very relaxing enjoyable stay.

we stayed for 8 nights, and it was fantastic!!!!!! Great location for the park walking in the great outdoors. The staff was very friendly and helpful - "ready to serve". Looking forward to returning next SEPT!!!!!!

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
