The facility is beautifully maintained with a well stocked store and so much to do in the Avila area. We stayed in the cabins for a week for our family reunion and ages 5-75 all had a blast!

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was wonderful. So nice to not have to drag all the utensils on our trip. The campground was nice and clean. The caretakers were wonderful and so helpful. Looking forward to our next time there

We had a wonderful time. We live your campground. First time staying in one of your cabins since selling our rv. So cozy…it had everything we needed. The mattress was a little uncomfortable, probably could use a new one. We had to place a towel over the door window….neighbors could see into our unit. Maybe install a blind or a thick curtain for privacy. Front office staff was very friendly.

There was feces in the bedding. It was changed immediately but we should have received a discount. It was awful. We stayed in cabin M, 7-10 thru 7-13.

Cabin was neat and clean. There were plenty of towels & beach towels. They had a new sponge to do dishes, bed was comfortable. Camp was quiet

Great place to stay and will be back again. Cabins are a bit pricy but worked out well for our family who didn't have an RV. Nice to have them near and not in a hotel further away. We hope to be back next year again making it our 5th year in a row.

Had a great stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facilities were in good shape, nothing fancy, but clean and functional. Pool was very nice. We stayed in cabin, it had everything we needed.

We loved the location, staff, and movie nights at the camp. The cabin we stayed in was pleasant and clean. The beds were very nice to sleep in. The only concern I had was with the shower. The curtain didn't keep the water inside the tub. Even when secured with water, it spilled out. Otherwise, we enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

Cabin C2 smelled like propane the whole time. Nauseating! They did come to test it and found no problems but it was very unpleasant. It was coming from the oven which had a few broken parts. Why don’t they just buy a new oven? Also no plunger in the bathroom and we had to borrow our neighbors. The bed was creaky and my friend couldn’t sleep in it but I was fine. Everything else was really good

The staff was very polite and helpful. The whole facility was clean and well located. The cabin was comfortable but it needs to be upgraded. All the pots were made out of Teflon and it was all scratched which is dangerous to cook on, utensils were old, and didn’t have dinnerwear that were microwave safe. If all this is upgraded this cabin will be definitely perfect.

Very quiet on weekdays. Austin was very nice and helpful with helping us load our bikes.��� We left the cabin very clean, so we should be refunded our $100 cleaning deposit.

Wonderful, friendly, caring folks are employed here. From top to bottom. The leadership, strength, and endurance by all during and after the 2023 flooding shows. The grounds and cabins are kept safe and clean and our group of 10 never had any problems. Thank you KOA

We had a great time! We love the location right by the beach and the amazing farmer's market. The onsite amenities are just enough to be comfortable and spend a relaxing time with family outdoors.

Loved the location. We were disappointed that our cabins had no bbq or outdoor seating areas - would have been nice to have a chair outside. Cabins were good but top bunk was not safe with no guardrail on it.

My kids and I have been to several KOA’s and we all agree that this is our favorite! I read some bad reviews on Yelp, so I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised to be blown away by everyone’s kindness! All employees seemed so genuinely nice! Wish we could have stayed longer. The location is really easy access to Avila Beach, Pismo Beach and SLO. The staff all were very courteous and incredibly helpful. Sadly, the pool and hot tub were not functional due to the January floods. We hope to return and enjoy all the outdoor activities.

So very disappointing. Multiple issues including the advertised “full bath” didn’t even have a sink. Television remote didn’t work. Flooring missing covered by throw rug. Broken chair. Spider webs. Stained shower floor with moldy drain. Hostile attitude instead of helpful. Unexpected $100 cleaning deposit that I assume will be returned as we left the cabin clean but I’m nervous about tha

It was so awesome and fun! Definitely more than a 10 that's for sure! The cabin was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and respectful, especially the managers. They always make sure your having a great time. Movie nights, activities on the weekends and cotton candy ! I would definitely recommend this campground. I will be coming back soon.

I love KOA and Avila KOA but unfortunately our bathroom sink wasn’t working during our stay. Usually the cabins are very clean but this trip it wasn’t. Staff was so friendly but should have offered us to move cabins or a free night stay.

Excellent campground. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy after hour check in, with direction to our cabin. I would recommend some additinal towel hooks in the bathroom.

This is our 2nd stay & we have been very satisfied with both-allowing us to vacation w/ friends who own RVs &ud be in walking distance. Nice location close to Avila Beach, Pismo & SLO. The only thing that could improve the accommodation is to improve the furnace situation--we stay plenty warm but it is extremely loud & right outside the bedroom door-like a jet taking off in the night!!

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
