Amazing campground with great staff who really care about their facility and their customers. From arrival to departure, every staff member we met was professional, cheerful, and personable. The campground was very well kept and all of the facilities were very clean and everything was in working order. One of the best camping locations on the CA Central Coast.

Site was great for our 22' trailer. Utilities appeared to be new and all worked Fine. Not sure if the water pressure was up to snuff. Had to replace my regulator after arriving. Left the adjustable one at Cachuma!! was unable to check actual pressure. Only thing keeping me from giving the highest ratings was the Freeway noise. However after the 1st night hardly noticed

Nice place, road noise from freeway is horrible. Could not sleep well and without waking up multiple times to it in a hybrid trailer. Otherwise very nice and hosts are very supportive and help you back in to your spot.

We camped with our adult daughter and our 4-year-old granddaughter. We loved the local activities (Avila Barn and beach) and enjoyed the movie and popcorn. It was quiet and lots of fun.

We love going to this place. The staff is very friendly and always helping everyone who comes to stay. We stay atleast 3 times a year.

The gravel is the only minor downside for old folks, mobility carts, and small dogs.

Very nice, peaceful and pleasure full. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and so was the entire complex. We will be back for sure.

Our stayed was pleasant, the bathrooms could use a refresh but overall it was a nice stay. Very quiet and close to the places we needed to go or visit. Thank you to the team members, all were very nice.

Place was extremely clean, staff was amazing! Kim, Lisa, Zach, Mike and all others make this place. Nice activities! Didn't like the gravel or noise but overall a good time!

Great location. Lots to do— biking, hiking, shopping, and hot springs nearby. Staff are super friendly. I enjoyed the movie night and pancake breakfast. I plan to come back again.

Staff was very helpful and polite. It was very clean. And we felt safe. We had our 2 motorcycles with us and felt they were very safe too. That is why we choose to stay at KOA campgrounds when we travel. Thank you for a great stay.

Loved all the amenities. Bathrooms nicely maintained and roomy! The park was neat and well looked after. Everyone was so nice! Sorry was too tired to watch the movie and have free popcorn. Will love to come back again. Thanks

All staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. We moved for one night from site 67 to 76 (our final day/night). Although site 76 was still a premium site it was quite a bit smaller than site 67. Positioning our RV to avoid brushing up against the tree to the passenger side of the RV was slightly challenging. Again we were very disappointed that we could not utilize the spa.

All staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only area of disappointment was the closure of the spa during our visit. This along with the pool was a significant reason we selected this property for our vacation.

One of our favorite KOA’s. Staff all very nice. Property is well maintained and clean. Activities offered good for everyone. Close to Bob Jones trail, great for walk, run or bike ride. Great town of Avila Beach and next door to Pismo Beach. Love the area.

One of the nicest KOAs we've stayed in. Very clean. large bathrooms. Very nice staff and store. Lot's of activities. Convenient to sites. We'll be back if we're near here again.

Was a great stay but keeping children out of the jacuzzi was ignored by most parents. Staff is the best, keeping grounds clean and neat. Bathrooms are spotless and maintained. Movie night and pancake breakfast is a treat.

Tight spots and not enough control over rules. Suggest a dark skies policy at night. Campers next to me played loud music smoked cigars and were generally defiant over campground rules.

This is a wonderful campground, the staff are always friendly. This is our 3rd time staying within 2 years. Don't forgot, they have a farmers market less than a 5 minute walk right outside the campground, please check it out. There is a bike path that goes straight to the beach, walking, about 30 to 35 minute walk, bike, 10 to 15 minutes, they do having a dog friendly beach across the bridge

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
