We were disappointed to find out the hot tub and pool were closed during our family spring break vacation. Also, the weather was rainy at the end of our week stay so we cut our trip 2 days short. Pop up trailers need to be dry when packed up,so mold doesn’t form. We were not able to get compensated for departing early when we asked a couple days prior to the rain occurring.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. They do a great job! The spots are very close together and that is a detraction from the camping experience.

Getat managers! They were so friendly and good with children as we had our share of grandkids with us. The location is wonderful and the whole time the management was trying to get the place back up to par after the floods. Will definitely go back!

The freeway is very noisy but we knew that having stayed before. The pool was closed due to recent flooding, but we knew that as well. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and the site was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay again, however, not if I planned to be at the site during the day as the noise is bothersome. The location is ideal for my purposes.

They made a remarkable recovery after some major flooding happened to their location. Had I not seen photos of the flooding I would have never known how hard they worked to make sure our stay was so amazing. Very clean facility throughout.

One of the best KOAs! Kudos to Julie & Lisa!! Loved the fresh, soft chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. Meticulously maintained facility, especially bathrooms. Lots of privacy. BEST camp store ever! Largest local wine collection I've seen!

Staff very welcoming and friendly. We saw new faces from the last time we were there and they were just as nice. Super friendly and made us feel comfortable. Sites very clean. Restrooms very clean and the store has great stock. This is our favorite KOA. The new manager was very nice. Guys parking is were great as well. Not one complaint from our stay. 10+ all around on service and everything.

What a great find! Perfect spot for a central coast getaway. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s an easy 3 mile walk to Avila Beach and a very short walk to Avila Barn (great for kids), and Sycamore Hot Springs. Facilities are clean and well maintained. We love it here!

I arrived after hours on Sunday evening, so did not have any interaction with staff, but still found the envelope with a map and directions to my site. I appreciate the consistency between all KOA locations. In the morning found the property clean and organized. Thanks

Great campground. Very clean. Many spaces are very tight for larger trailers. My trailer fit in the spot, but my tow vehicle would not fit. Some freeway noise, but not that bad to ruin your stay.

Pool and spa were shut down, which we knew ahead of time, due to previous storms. Spaces a bit tight, but room for our propane fire pit and chairs. Have to say the best part of this KOA was the staff. They were always upbeat and extremely helpful. Thank you all

The location is great for Pismo/Avila Beaches and San Luis Obispo, but that advantage is ruined by the extremely narrow, tight RV sites in the park. The tight sites make staying more than a day or two very unpleasant. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend others to stay.

The campgrounds are well taken care of, with ongoing maintenance given a recent and unusual flood; the staff are very kind and friendly; each site is large enough, and the location is perfect: In every direction is beauty and delight.

Good location for a short stop. It’s right off the highway. Very friendly staff. They have propane for rv’s for sale which was very convenient.

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
