Although the sites are tight, the campgrounds are well manicured (even despite the recent flooding) and the staff professional and courteous. Please keep your rates where they are...we are being priced out of some neighboring campsites �

No hassle stay, with easy check in and departure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The facility was clean and well maintained.

Staff was awesome! Friendly, helpful, guided us in to park the trailer, gave us and the dogs welcoming cookies, handed out Easter treats on Easter Sunday, movie night with free popcorn, fun scavenger hunt upon arrival to get the lay of the land. Pool and spa were closed due to recent floods in CA but understand. Dog park was nice, big and clean.

From the app to departure it was a stream lined process and the facility itself had wonderful events and plenty for the kids to do. It’s was well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful and the trailer slips allowed easy access.

The staff at this KOA were friendly and helpful. the campground is small for a KOA and the sites are VERY close together. Our site was !30.00 per nite & right near the bathrooms so people were literally walking through our site 24 hours a day,. This was our 2nd stay here as we have family nearby and it is convenient for us for that reason. We probably will not stay here again.

Placed in a very small site with a 30 ft trailer. Little room for the truck to park. Noise rules could’ve been enforced better. Our 2022 experience much better than this one. Guest interaction overall could’ve been better also.

The staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. we were very disappointed that the pool and spa are non existent. I think a discount for the site would be offered. I was really surprised that it wasn’t. Another option would be that you guys worked out a deal next door for your campers. I would also suggest a dog wash be added to the camground, it would be a great addition, being close to the dog beac

It was very relaxing. The bathhouse was clean and so was the entire campground which is great considering the weather of recent weeks. Some sites are quite close but we spen a lot of time at the adjacent site with our friends’ theirs was bigger. The staff was really nice and helpful. It was a great stay.

Our second stay at KOA Avila didn't disappoint. Friendly staff, clean park and bathrooms. Park is situated very close to a trail called "Bob Jones memorial trail" that lead directly down to Avila beach & great restaurants and shops. Pool & spa were being renovated, so didn't get to use that. Lots of other things to do on park grounds. You have to check out the famers market next door.

We stayed here 2 years ago and had to return. They have since done quite a bit of repair work due to a flash flood in January. Still a fabulous place to stay. Close to Pismo and Avila. Avila Barn across the street. Will definitely stay again.

We were disappointed to find out the hot tub and pool were closed during our family spring break vacation. Also, the weather was rainy at the end of our week stay so we cut our trip 2 days short. Pop up trailers need to be dry when packed up,so mold doesn’t form. We were not able to get compensated for departing early when we asked a couple days prior to the rain occurring.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. They do a great job! The spots are very close together and that is a detraction from the camping experience.

Getat managers! They were so friendly and good with children as we had our share of grandkids with us. The location is wonderful and the whole time the management was trying to get the place back up to par after the floods. Will definitely go back!

The freeway is very noisy but we knew that having stayed before. The pool was closed due to recent flooding, but we knew that as well. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and the site was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay again, however, not if I planned to be at the site during the day as the noise is bothersome. The location is ideal for my purposes.

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
