Wonderful, friendly, caring folks are employed here. From top to bottom. The leadership, strength, and endurance by all during and after the 2023 flooding shows. The grounds and cabins are kept safe and clean and our group of 10 never had any problems. Thank you KOA

The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The grounds were clean. I liked that it was a non smoking camp grounds! The grounds were just too tight and stacked on top of each other for my liking. We got other campers walking through our spot at times.

The sites are very clean and the park is well organized. The customer service was excellent! The RV hook-ups were excellent and the cable worked perfect for our TV. I would give them 5 stars if they had fire pits at the camp sites. A special thanks to employee Zack, who assisted us with our trailer.

Deluxe cabin was very comfortable for small family. Clean facilities. Wonderful pull. The Barn is a close and must see attraction.

We had a great time! We love the location right by the beach and the amazing farmer's market. The onsite amenities are just enough to be comfortable and spend a relaxing time with family outdoors.

Loved the location. We were disappointed that our cabins had no bbq or outdoor seating areas - would have been nice to have a chair outside. Cabins were good but top bunk was not safe with no guardrail on it.

First time campers at your KOA. This was also the very first time we camped in our new travel trailer. The staff was very helpful and considerate. Campground was very clean. What a great location, really in the center of everywhere we wanted to go. We were able to rent bikes and go nearly everywhere on them. Honestly, cannot wait to stay with you again.

The Avila KOA is one of our absolute favorites. It is just the right size. The pool and spa never seem crowded. There is always room to find cozy fire pit seating at family movie nights. It’s very clean and tidy, surrounded by hills of misty forest. Very peaceful. Everything to visit is within biking or walking distance, and there is so much to do! Th staff are excellent! So helpful, so friendly

This place was beautiful, peaceful and great Facilities. Upon checking in they give you cookies (nice touch). We had someone guide us to our space. It was close to everything. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

We are First time campers and new to the RV life. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Our kids had a blast with many options that kept them entertained and busy!

We stayed in a patio site, no privacy, fence between you & other site does not extend to patio area. Spaces are EXTREMELY tight, and we only we only have a s 25’ Navion w/two slides. Dog park is nice, pool looked nice, bathrooms could definitely use some updating, but were clean. Seems VERY expensive for what you get, not sure why it’s so pricey… �����‍���

This was one of the nicest and cleanest KOAs we have stayed at. The staff constantly is cleaning each site and is there to help whenever needed. The rec room is fun for the kids and entire family. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Thank you Avila KOA!

We had a family gathering with 3 rv spots and 1 cabin. It worked out great. The premium spot was great for all of us to get together, have breakfast and dinner , fireplace, s'mores time. I would recommend putting more fencing between the premium sites for more privacy. Bathrooms were clean, campground was well kept.

We love this park and have been several times. It’s clean, quiet, and staff is friendly. We also love the location. Close to the bike trail and Avila Valley Barn.

Our stay was A 10+. This KOA in Avila has really done some amazing remodeling. The movie theater, pool and breakfast area is very very nice. The staff are exceptional. Everyone is nice. Lisa is very welcoming when we checked in as are the rest of the staff. Andrea was very kind and personable. She remembered my grandaughter and nephews names and was just a joy. The breakfast was delicious.

This is a beautiful KOA with nice scenery and easy access to all the areas around it! The campground it self has beautiful amenities and is well kept! I look forward to returning to this location and staying longer!

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
