The staff was very polite and helpful. The whole facility was clean and well located. The cabin was comfortable but it needs to be upgraded. All the pots were made out of Teflon and it was all scratched which is dangerous to cook on, utensils were old, and didn’t have dinnerwear that were microwave safe. If all this is upgraded this cabin will be definitely perfect.

As always staff was great, worked with us so we could expand our stay. Great location our grandkids enjoyed the pool and movies. Park was easy to back in. Wonderful beyond expectation.

Pros: Lisa was very helpful in the office. Close to the Beach. Cons: Hot tub was warm. Entry gate for after hours was silly, the other exit was wide open and not preventing people from going that way. And the biggest "Freeway noise" is a roar. Its in the listing and on line, but once you realize how load it is there your cancellation would be costly.

This was our fourth stay, and it gets nicer every time. So many nice amenities and beautiful landscaping! Office staff is VERY helpful and friendly. Mike was a big help with things I was struggling with on my RV. I HIGHLY recommend this KOA! One of the best I’ve stayed at. Thanks to EVERYONE who works here for making it such a wonderful experience. We’ll be back!

The campground is cute and offers many things for kids to do while staying there. My grandkids and I rented bikes and rode the 3 mile Bob Jones trail to Avila Beach. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Needed help with electrical and sewage connections and the staff was very supportive. They replaced the 50A plug as well as cleared concrete around the sewage fitting so the adapter would screw in properly.

Small campground so smaller spaces. I Well maintained ground and staff always friendly and happy to help while around the site. Right next to 101 freeway so you have traffic noise. Julie the manager is lovely and helped us out extending our stay after a personal accident, she could not have been more accommodating, kind and helpful. Made my time less stressful with her help.

This place is one of my favorite places to R.V. we had a premium site. We used the gas grill to BBQ some steaks and enjoyed the gas fireplace. The hot tub and heated pool are also very nice, not to mention the very friendly and helpful staff. Make your reservation you will be glad you did.

Everyone in the office and who helped us park our trailer were exceptional. The park is clean. The spaces are a bit tight. We had a wonderful trip though. Will be back.

It was great. Quite after 10, no excess noise and very peaceful and relaxing vacation. The registration people were very accommodating in giving us extra days. The weekend breakfast was also great. We will be going back very soon.

Great service. My only issue is folks ignore the rules and standard campground etiquette and also through campsites. This seems to happen a lot after the movie was over. It was dark and someone stepped on and crushed by sewer hose. So annoying

Staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us setup in our site number 28. Site was very small with just enough room for our 26 foot trailer and truck. Hookups worked fine. Would like a bigger space next time which is more money.

All staff were very helpful and very accommodating to help. Facility very clean and pleasant stay. One of the best RV stays we have had so far. This was recommended to us by a friend and see why they liked this place.

Our 4-day visit included a rendezvous with three friends also staying at the Avila/Pismo Beach KOA. Our assigned camp site was a little tight for our 25-foot Class C motorhome with a driver's side slideout. Limited shade. Loved having the 30/50-amp electricity hookup, water, sewer, cable TV (35 digital channels and 19 analog channels), and strong internet signal. Nice swimming pool and spa.

This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Premium site was large enough for our 43ft toy hauler with room for the slide outs and patio. Location was perfect, plenty of activities for the kids and our spot was right next to the playground and pool so that was a huge plus. Campground was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back

Very quiet on weekdays. Austin was very nice and helpful with helping us load our bikes.��� We left the cabin very clean, so we should be refunded our $100 cleaning deposit.

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
